Abstract: A vehicle controller sets an upper limit request value related to an upper limit of a longitudinal acceleration of a vehicle, a lower limit request value related to a lower limit of the longitudinal acceleration, and an acceleration request value related to the longitudinal acceleration that corresponds to an amount of the operation of the vehicle. The vehicle controller sets a first arbitration request value to a greater one of the lower limit request value and the acceleration request value. The vehicle controller sets a second arbitration request value to a smaller one of the first arbitration request value and the upper limit request value. The vehicle controller sets, to a value that corresponds to the second arbitration request value, a command value sent to an actuator that operates to adjust the traveling speed.

Abstract: An electric braking device includes an electric cylinder unit. The electric cylinder unit includes electric cylinder devices, a housing, and a circuit board accommodated in a board case. Electric motors of the electric cylinder devices are provided with male connectors, and the board case is provided with female connectors. Fitting between the male connector and the female connector is released by moving the male connector relative to the female connector in the first X-axis direction.

Abstract: A vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a brake device and an electronic control unit. The brake device is configured to change a front-rear distribution ratio of braking force with respect to front and rear wheels. The electronic control unit is configured to: control the brake device such that the front-rear distribution ratio is in accordance with a fixed distribution characteristic in which the front-rear distribution ratio is constant regardless of deceleration of the vehicle in at least a part of a first range being a required deceleration range lower than a lower limit value of the deceleration perceivable by a person in the vehicle; and control the brake device such that the front-rear distribution ratio is biased toward the rear wheel than that in the fixed distribution characteristic in a second range in which the deceleration is higher than that in the first range.

Abstract: A brake fluid pressure supply unit includes a fluid pressure generation device in which a piston that slides in a cylinder is driven by an electric motor to generate fluid pressure in a fluid pressure chamber formed in the cylinder; and a housing in which a fluid path connected to the fluid pressure chamber is formed. The electric motor and the cylinder are both attached to the housing. The electric motor is positioned more on upper side of the brake fluid pressure supply unit than the cylinder in a vertical direction. Thus, even if fluid leaks from the cylinder, the fluid having leaked can be prevented from entering inside of the electric motor. Thus, the operation of the electric motor is not impaired, whereby the reliability of the brake fluid pressure supply unit can be improved.
