An air-cooled generator may be provided with a centrifugal blower configured for rotation on a shaft of the generator. The centrifugal blower may have an axially oriented outlet. An impeller of the blower may have blades with trailing edges oriented at an angle between 80° to about 90° relative to an axis of the shaft of the generator.

The switch is accomplished by establishing a connection from a telephone connected to an RJ11 port on the module to a wired channel connected to a backup RJ11 port on the module. Detection for power outage is by comparing the device voltage with a reference voltage, and detection for broadband connection is by sending out a PING packet and waiting to see if a return packet is received.

A method of hydrogenating a poly-silicon layer is disclosed, which is used to improve characteristics of a thin film transistor (TFT) having a poly-silicon thin film. In the method, the poly-silicon layer is first subject to a plasma pre-process and then a hydrogenating process is undertaken thereon where a hydrogen-containing silicon-based compound is deposited over the poly-silicon layer having being pre-processed by the plasma and thermal treated. As such, the hydrogen atoms in the hydrogen-containing silicon-based compound may diffuse into the poly-silicon layer and the hydrogen atoms at a surface of the poly-silicon layer may further diffuse into where need to be filled to promote the hydrogenation effect of the poly-silicon layer, i.e., the hydrogenation may be completed in a shorter time.

A processing station for forming an insulating film comprises a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) unit, a cleaning unit, a cassette station that receives a plurality of substrates, and a transfer system. The transfer system effectuates the conveyance of a substrate being processed between the CVD unit, the cleaning unit, and the cassette station. The CVD unit is placed in a position facing the cassette station, the transfer system is disposed between the CVD unit and the cassette station, and the cleaning unit is positioned proximate to the transfer system. Within the processing station, a substrate is subjected to an operating cycle that includes a plurality of deposition passes alternated with at least a wet cleaning operation. Each deposition pass forms a thickness of insulating layer smaller than the desired thickness of insulating film. Each wet cleaning operation removes residual particles from an intermediary insulating layer.

The air inlet plenum has a cylindrical outer wall, a forward circular end wall, and a rearward circular end wall. An air inlet radially extends from the cylindrical outer wall and is in flow communication therewith. An aperture in forward circular end wall is configured to seal receive about a rotating shaft. An aperture in rearward circular end wall is configured to receive the rotating shaft and allow air flow therethrough about the rotating shaft. A rectangular baffle extends radially inward from the cylindrical outer wall at a circumference thereof opposite the air inlet. The rectangular baffle may extend between the forward and rearward end walls.

A method for etching features in an etch layer is provided. A patterned photoresist mask is provided over the etch layer, the photoresist mask having at least one photoresist line having a pair of sidewalls ending at a line end is provided. A polymer layer is placed over the at least one photoresist line, wherein a thickness of the polymer layer at the line end of the photoresist line is greater than a thickness of the polymer layer on the sidewalls of the photoresist line. Features are etched into the etch layer through the photoresist mask, wherein a line end shortening (LES) ratio is less than or equal to 1.
Abstract:
A method for etching a polysilicon gate structure in a plasma etch chamber is provided. The method initiates with defining a pattern protecting a polysilicon film to be etched. Then, a plasma is generated. Next, substantially all of the polysilicon film that is unprotected is etched. Then, a silicon containing gas is introduced and a remainder of the polysilicon film is etched while introducing a silicon containing gas. An etch chamber configured to introduce a silicon containing gas during an etch process is also provided.

A replaceable superabrasive tool insert for use in an abrading tool body includes an attachable shank, having a working end and an attachment end. At least one superabrasive particle is individually attached to the shank at the working end of the shank to provide an abrading interface between the shank and a work piece to be abraded. The attachment end of the shank is configured to be removably attached to the abrading tool body.
