A composition for intranasal delivery of a drug comprising: includes: (i) the drug; and (ii) a non-aqueous vehicle containing (a) propylene glycol and at least one additional solvent selected from N-methylpyrrolidone, propylene carbonate, dimethyl sulfoxide and at least one propylene glycol fatty acid ester; (b) from about 40 to 100% by volume of N-methylpyrrolidone; or (c) from about 40 to 100% by volume of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO).
Abstract:
A computer implemented method for determining a vehicle type of a vehicle detected in an image is disclosed. An image having a detected vehicle is received. A number of vehicle models having salient feature points is projected on the detected vehicle. A first set of features derived from each of the salient feature locations of the vehicle models is compared to a second set of features derived from corresponding salient feature locations of the detected vehicle to form a set of positive match scores (p-scores) and a set of negative match scores (n-scores). The detected vehicle is classified as one of the vehicle models models based at least in part on the set of p-scores and the set of n-scores.
Abstract:
The invention provides a high module carbon fiber and a fabrication method thereof. The high module carbon fiber includes the product fabricated by the following steps: subjecting a pre-oxidized carbon fiber to a microwave assisted graphitization process, wherein the pre-oxidized carbon fiber is heated to a graphitization temperature of 1000-3000° C. for 1-30 min. Further, the high module carbon fiber has a tensile strength of between 2.0-6.5 GPa and a module of between 200-650 GPa.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for detecting and tracking vehicles. One embodiment of a system for detecting and tracking an object (e.g., vehicle) in a field of view includes a moving object indication stage for detecting a candidate object in a series of input video frames depicting the field of view and a track association stage that uses a joint probabilistic graph matching framework to associate an existing track with the candidate object.

The present disclosure discloses a device having multiple printing layers and a printing method thereof, wherein said method comprises: seriatim stack-printing at least one printing layer on a protective substrate in an ascending order of size, wherein the protective substrate has an open surface exposed outward and a laminating surface laminated with a plate, and wherein the printing layer is printed on a part of the laminating surface and the closer the printing layer is to the laminating surface, the smaller area the printing layer has so as to reduce height difference between printing layers and make for the following lamination.

The present invention relates to a method and system for creating a strong classifier based on motion patterns wherein the strong classifier may be used to determine an action being performed by a body in motion. When creating the strong classifier, action classification is performed by measuring similarities between features within motion patterns. Embodiments of the present invention may utilize candidate part-based action sets and training samples to train one or more weak classifiers that are then used to create a strong classifier.

A driving circuit having a power factor correction (PFC) function includes a power converter, a harmonic wave generator, a voltage divider, and a modify element. The power converter receives AC power to convert to DC power. The harmonic wave generator generates a harmonic wave from the DC power. The voltage level of the harmonic wave is decreased by the voltage divider to generate a comparing signal. The modify element compares the comparing signal and a feedback current signal of the LED to regulate the DC power accordingly for power-supplying the LED stably. Therefore the power factor (PF) of the driving circuit is enhanced.

The water-swellable polymer is made of hydrophilic monomers and hydrophobic monomers, and the hydrophilic monomers include ionic monomers and non-ionic monomers, and the ionic monomers include cationic monomers and anionic monomers.

A low-temperature stainless steel carburization method comprises steps: providing a stainless steel material; placing the stainless steel material in a halogen-free reducing environment and maintaining the stainless steel at a first temperature ranging 1,050 to 1,400° C.; and placing the stainless steel material in a carbon-bearing atmosphere and maintaining the stainless steel material at a second temperature lower than 600° C. to implant carbon atoms into the stainless steel material to form a carburized layer on the surface of the stainless steel material. A halide-bearing gas or solution is not to be applied to activate the passivation layer, so the fabrication cost would be reduced and the safety of carburization process would be enhanced. Besides, the environment can be prevented from halide pollution.

A system and method of decompressing a video signal can include the steps of receiving a compressed video signal, the video signal including frames; analyzing, for each frame, the video signal on a macroblock-by-macroblock level; determining whether to upsample a macroblock residual for each of the macroblocks; selectively upsampling a macroblock residual for some of the macroblocks; and decoding the macroblocks.
