    Abstract: Various aspects and embodiments disclosed herein relate generally to the modelling, treatment, reduction of resistance to the treatment, prevention, and/or diagnosis of diseases characterized by the formation of cancers. Embodiments include methods of treating cancer, comprising the steps of: providing a patient diagnosed with cancer with a therapeutic regime that includes at least one therapeutically effective dose of at least one agent that reduces the activity of at least one DNA damage/repair pathway. Other embodiments include methods of treating cancer, comprising the steps of: treating a patient diagnosed with cancer with a combination of therapeutic agents that includes at least one therapeutically effective anti-cancer agent and at least one compound that reduces the activity of at least one DNA damage/repair pathway. Yet other embodiments include methods of reducing resistance to a genotoxic therapeutic, comprising the steps of: treating a patient at least one therapeutically effective dose of at least one agent that reduces at least one DNA damage/repair pathway.

    Abstract: An identifier for a conduit includes a first tag having a body with a first aperture formed therein for receiving the conduit and a first identifying feature, and a second tag having a body with a second aperture formed therein for receiving the conduit and a second identifying feature that matches the first identifying feature. The first tag is attached to the conduit adjacent one end, the second tag is attached to the conduit adjacent another end, and the ends are identified as ends of the same conduit by the matching first and second identifying features.

    Abstract: A real time tracking and positioning system comprising at least four anchors, at least one actor configured to interact with the at least four anchors, and an electronic device in communication with at least one of the at least four anchors, the electronic device being configured to receive two-way ranging/distance data for each actor and calculate a real-time position of each actor based on the two-way ranging/distance data, the two-way ranging/distance data including a round-trip time of a radio frequency signal between the at least one actor and each of the at least four anchors.
