Abstract:
The present invention relates to a semiconductor memory device, and more particularly to a dynamic random access memory for accomplishing high speed data access by supplying a plurality of row address strobe signals to a chip. A plurality of row address strobe signals are supplied to a plurality of pins, and each row address strobe signal is sequentially supplied with an active signal during a data access operation. Therefore, data in a plurality of memory cell arrays is accessed during one access cycle time. Thus, since a large number of random data are provided, the data access time decreases and the performance of a system can be greatly improved.
Abstract:
A semiconductor DRAM comprising a circuit arrangement in which an undesirable effect due to the coupling capacitance between bit lines thereof can be reduced, comprises: a plurality of bit lines arranged parallel to each other; a plurality of word lines intersecting each plurality of bit lines; a plurality of upper sense amplifiers respectively connected to uppermost ends of each of odd numbered bit line pairs; a plurality of lower sense amplifiers respectively connected to lowermost ends of each of even numbered bit line pairs; a memory cell array having a plurality of memory cells arranged sequentially in a diagonal line within selected locations of a plurality of spacings formed by intersection of the bit lines and word lines, the memory cell being disposed at every fourth spacing in a row and a column; first latching means for activating said upper sense amplifiers, the latching means being connected with said upper sense amplifiers; and second latching means coupled with said lower sense amplifiers, said first latching means and said second latching means being alternately activated to each other.
Abstract:
A higher packing of cells in a memory circuit includes a plurality of word line drivers employing a plurality of word lines, a plurality of bit lines, and various decoders. Disclosed is the array method of the word line drivers, which can reduce the pitch between the word line drivers so that the layout of the semiconductor memory array may be easily accomplished. Moreover, the array method of other components of the memory array is suggested.

Disclosed herein are a virtual golf simulation apparatus for providing a user-customized practice environment, a server connected with the virtual golf simulation apparatus through a network, and a user-customized practice environment provision method using the virtual golf simulation, which are capable of providing various practice modes for each golf shot so that a user can practice a specific golf shot intensively using golf simulation based on virtual reality to realize a virtual environment that cannot be experienced on a real golf driving range so that the user can intensively practice a golf shot which is more exciting, more intensive, and more practically useful in a real game.
Abstract:
Provided is a frequency sensing method and apparatus in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. Provided is a method of sensing a frequency of a received signal that is received from an outside in order to perform one of a plurality of radio communications. An OFDM apparatus may need to inspect a required frequency band before or after performing one of the plurality of radio communications, and to determine whether the frequency band is being used by another radio communication.
Abstract:
Provided are a terminal and a base station, and a frequency sensing method thereof. The terminal or the base station may filter a frequency band needing frequency sensing in the entire frequency band where the terminal or the base station may receive an input signal. It is possible to enhance a detection performance and rate of signals by applying frequency sensing to the filtered frequency band.
Abstract:
Provided is a synchronization error tracking device and method. The method and system estimates and corrects the synchronization error generated by time and frequency offsets during the data transmission interval and uses a module designed for initial synchronization or channel estimation without adding a new correlation operator. Further, a combining mark value and a synchronization position value acquired during the synchronization process are used.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method for controlling a voltage gain in an ultra wideband receiving apparatus. The apparatus includes a register for storing an Automatic Gain Control (AGC) value detected in a section where an AGC operation control signal is “ON”; and a voltage gain controller for generating a voltage gain control value by reading the AGC stored in the register during a section where a reception enable signal is “ON”, and transferring the generated voltage gain control value to a voltage gain amplifier.
Abstract:
A cradling device of a portable electronic apparatus, which includes a first housing, and a second housing which is slid from the first housing and then is cradled with a slant on the first housing. The second housing can rotate relative to the first housing. The cradling device includes a first member provided in the first housing; a slidable second member capable of sliding, which is provided in the second housing and faces the first member; and at least one cradling module provided in the first housing and the first member, which rotates the first member together with the second member on a rotation axis and cradles the second housing after sliding movement of the slidable second member.
Abstract:
A sliding-type portable terminal including a first housing and a second housing linearly movably coupled to the first housing face-to-face includes a spring module for opening/closing the first and second housings. The spring module includes at least a pair of asymmetrical S-shaped wires each including a first bend and a second bend extending from the first bend and having a greater curvature than the first bend. The spring module of the portable terminal provides a reduced thickness because of the spring action in the portable terminal, contributing in particular to an overall reduction in thickness of a sliding-type portable terminal and permit smooth opening/closing of the portable terminal.
