Method for fabricating an interposer is provided. A substrate is provided having thereon at least a conductive via and at least a flange. The flange is bonded on the substrate and shades a portion of the via. A photoresist layer is formed on the interior surface of the via, on a contact surface of the flange and on an inner surface of the flange opposite to the contact surface. An opening is formed in the photoresist layer to expose a portion of the contact surface of the flange, while the photoresist layer still covers the interior surface of the via and the inner surface of the flange. A plating layer is formed on the exposed contact surface of the flange. The photoresist layer is then removed.

An apparatus and a method generate power and refrigeration from low-grade heat. The apparatus includes a heating module, a power generator module, an ejector, a heat exchanger, a condenser module, a low-temperature evaporator, a reservoir, a pressure pump and two direction controllable three-way valves. The heating module includes a heat source and a boiler. The power generator module includes an expansion turbine and a power generator. The condenser module includes a condenser and a cooling tower. The method is that the direction controllable three-way valves are operated to change the flow directions of the working fluid for executing a power generation and refrigeration mode, a power generation mode, a refrigeration mode or an idle mode.

A method for fabricating an integrated circuit structure and the resulting integrated circuit structure are provided. The method includes forming a low-k dielectric layer; form an opening in the low-k dielectric layer; forming a barrier layer covering a bottom and sidewalls of the low-k dielectric layer; performing a treatment to the barrier layer in an environment comprising a treatment gas; and filling the opening with a conductive material, wherein the conductive material is on the barrier layer.

Deasphalted residual oil (DAO) and the aromatics-rich extract that is derived from DAO have low polycyclic aromatics contents, relatively low aniline points, and high flash points. They form blending stocks that improve properties of mixed feedstocks to consistently produce environmentally qualified rubber processing oil (RPO) by extraction under low solvent-to-oil ratios and moderate extraction temperatures. Distilling a petroleum crude oil under atmospheric pressure generates a bottom residual oil which is then subject to vacuum distillation to yield a bottom residual oil. DAO is produced by removing the asphalt from the vacuum bottom residual oil through extraction with light paraffinic solvent. The extract of DAO is a co-product in the production of the bright stock of the lubricating oil through extraction. The feedstock is mixed with the extract from a petroleum fraction boiling in lube oil range. Liquid-liquid counter-current extraction yields a raffinate stream; removal of solvent therefrom produces the RPO.

The present invention relates to a memory management system and method for open platform. The memory management system and method of the present invention utilizes the main spirit of sharing service in open platform. When the used memory in local open platform exceeds an upper limit, the standard service bundle access interface is used for accessing the standard service bundle in remote open platform. Therefore, the standard service bundle in local open platform can be off-loaded to release the memory space so as to resolve the memory shortage problem. The stability of the whole system can be maintained.

A cooling device for a diamond-wire cutting system includes a fluid retarding space as a cooling tank enclosed and defined by one or more surfaces for temporarily holding a cooling fluid. The surfaces provide a closed or semi-open sidewall that allows a cutting part of a diamond wire for cutting a workpiece to pass through the cooling tank and get immersed in the cooling fluid. A sorting collector is connected to the cooling tank. Thereby, cutting the hard-brittle workpiece is always performed in the cooling fluid, so as to prevent the cooling fluid and cutting chips from splashing, and improve heat dissipation and dust removal, thereby enhancing the cutting capability and efficiency. The tooled workpiece has cut surfaces with improved smoothness. The sorting collector performs solid-liquid separation to the cooling fluid containing cutting chips, so that the cutting chips and the cooling fluid can be recycled.

Next, it is determined that whether the power signal is able to drive a main function device of the peripheral apparatus. Then, according to the determination result, the power signal is selectively provided to the main function device to drive the main function device.

A signal transmission device is provided. The signal transmission device comprises a linked unit, a data connector, a sliding block, a link and a lock block. The linked unit includes a first shaft, a second shaft, a third shaft, a first elastomer and a second elastomer. The data connector rotates and expands according to the first shaft and the first elastomer. During the retraction of the data connector, the data connector pushes the sliding block. Then the sliding block moves against the lock block so that the lock block rotates according to the second shaft. The lock block rotates to lock and secure the data connector by the lock piece, while a cam of the link moves to a secure location along an incline plane of a track of the sliding block.
