摘要： In a floating connector including a fitting portion and a fixed portion, a supporting mechanism is connected to the fitting portion and the fixed portion to support the fitting portion to the fixed portion so that the fitting portion has a floating allowed in a fitting direction of a mating connector. A floating control mechanism is between the fitting portion and the fixed portion. When the mating connector is not fitted to the floating connector, the floating control mechanism locks or inhibits the floating of the fitting portion. However, the floating control mechanism enables the floating of the fitting portion in response to a fitting operation of the mating connector to the floating connector.

摘要： In a flexible connector having a fitting portion for connection, with a counterpart connector. A plurality of flexible conductive wires (31) are arranged on a plane in parallel with each other and extend to have end portions. The flexible conductive wires are held by an insulator (8) which makes the fitting portion cooperate with the end portions of the flexible conductive wires. A flexible reinforcing member (6) is placed at one side of the plane to reinforce the flexible conductive wires and mechanically couples to the insulator.

摘要： In a connection device for connecting a flat cable with a connection object, a first connector is provided with a pressing member movably connected to a first insulator. The pressing member and the first insulator are covered with a first and a second conductive shell, respectively. The second conductive shell is brought into contact with a supplementary pattern of the flat cable and with the first conductive shell when the pressing member presses a flat cable with being moved. A second connector is provided with a third conductive shell for being connected to a supplementary pattern of the connection object. The third conductive shell is brought into contact with the first conductive shell when the first and the second connectors are connected to each other.

The connector has a first connector portion having a first contact for connection to a first card, and a second connector portion having a second contact for connection to a second card. The first contact and the first card are connected together in a fitting/removal direction, while, the second contact and the second card are connected together in a direction crossing the fitting/removal direction. When the first contact and the first card are connected together, the second contact is prevented from contacting the first card. 摘要： In a connector, a contact group has a signal contact and a ground contact, and the signal contact is arranged adjacently to both sides of the ground contact. Each of the signal contact and the ground contact has a contact portion connected to a partner side contact and also has a terminal portion connected to a connecting object. The pitch intervals between the terminal portions of the respective contacts of the contact group are equally set. The contact portion of the signal contact approaches the contact portion of the ground contact. Thus, the pitch interval between the contact portions of the adjacent signal contacts is widened with respect to the pitch interval between the terminal portions.
