Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming system including a warming device. The warming device includes a clinical garment comprising a body portion adapted to cover a portion of a patient, an inner surface for facing the patient, and an outer surface for facing away from the patient. The body portion includes sleeves sized and positioned for receiving the patient's arms and a torso portion adapted to cover an anterior torso of a patient. A first pneumatic convective device can be disposed adjacent to the inner surface of the clinical garment. The pneumatic convective device can include an opening formed in the clinical garment for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The warming system can also have a second pneumatic convective device in a fully-folded configuration or partially-folded configuration and disposed on a portion of the clinical garment.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a dressing assembly may include a dressing bolster, an interface seal, and a base layer. The dressing bolster may include a first side, a second side, and a periphery. The interface seal may be coupled at the periphery of the dressing bolster. The base layer may include a base layer flange configured to be coupled to the dressing and to extend beyond the periphery of the dressing bolster. The dressing assembly may be suitable for treating a tissue site with reduced pressure and for creating an apposition force between a first portion of the tissue site and a second portion of the tissue site. Other systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a photopolymerizable composition. The photopolymerizable composition includes at least one polypropylene oxide component and an initiator, plus optionally a urethane component, a multifunctional reactive diluent, and/or an inhibitor. The present disclosure also provides an article including the reaction product of the photopolymerizable composition. Typically, the article exhibits an elongation at break of 30% or greater. Further, the present disclosure provides a method of making an article. The method includes (i) providing a photopolymerizable composition and (ii) selectively curing the photopolymerizable composition to form an article. The method optionally also includes (iii) curing unpolymerized polypropylene oxide component, urethane component and/or multifunctional reactive diluent remaining after step (ii). Further, methods are provided, including receiving, by a manufacturing device having one or more processors, a digital object comprising data specifying an article; and generating, with the manufacturing device by an additive manufacturing process, the article based on the digital object. A system is also provided, including a display that displays a 3D model of an article; and one or more processors that, in response to the 3D model selected by a user, cause a 3D printer to create a physical object of an article.

Abstract: Provided herein is a system and method for trauma-free application and removal of light deactivated adhesive drapes. One aspect provides a system comprising a drape, at least one photosensitive adhesive portion having a release agent, and at least one acrylic and/or polyurethane adhesive portion, where the system is adapted to be coupled to a tissue site and released therefrom upon or after exposure to an external stimulus such as certain wavelengths of light. The system may have a removable blocking layer to prevent the photosensitive adhesive from being exposed to deactivation wavelengths prematurely. Another aspect provides a method for application and removal of a drape using by removing the removable blocking layer and applying light to the drape to deactivate the photosensitive adhesive portion and promote easy, clean, and less painful removal of the drape. When the photosensitive adhesive portion is deactivated, the acrylic and/or polyurethane adhesive portion maintains adhesion between the drape and the tissue until removal of the drape.
