Abstract:
A method of controlling a transmission of a vehicle may include generating a first synchronization force between a shift gear of a target gear and an output shaft to shift gears from a current gear to a lower gear set as the target gear in response to deceleration of the vehicle, so as to form a first synchronization, removing the first synchronization force between the shift gear and the output shaft after the generating of the first synchronization force, and generating a second synchronization force between the shift gear of the target gear and the output shaft after the removing of the first synchronization force, so as to form a second synchronization.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a touch panel. The touch panel according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a transparent substrate that is partitioned into an active region and an inactive region outside the active region, a first electrode that is formed in the active region of one surface of the transparent substrate, a second electrode that is formed in the active region of the other surface of the transparent substrate, and a low dielectric constant film that is formed along a peripheral edge of the active region while being formed in the inactive region of the one surface of the transparent substrate. In the touch panel, touch sensitivity is improved by minimizing influence of a polarization phenomenon on changes in capacitance on the peripheral edge of the active region in which a detection region is reduced.

Abstract:
An authentication apparatus for a non-real-time IPTV system decrypts a first encrypted value included in a contents request message received from a device using a preset session key, and then verifies the validity of the contents request message. If the verification results of the contents request message are valid, the authentication apparatus encrypts a variation between timestamps of the authentication apparatus and the device using the session key, and then generates a second encrypted value. After verification information by which the device is capable of verifying the authentication apparatus has been generated using the second encrypted value, the authentication apparatus sends verification information, together with contents corresponding to the contents request message, to the device.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a mixer circuit for mixing two input signals by source-coupled MOS transistors and outputting a mixed result. A duty cycle controlling MOS transistor is connected to a source of each source-coupled MOS transistor in series. A duty cycle controlling pulse is applied to a gate of the duty cycle controlling MOS transistor. The duty cycle controlling pulse has a phase shift of −90 degrees with respect to a controlling pulse applied to the gate of the source-coupled MOS transistor connected with the duty cycle controlling MOS transistor in series. An AND-combination of the duty cycles of the two controlling pulses applied to the gates of the two MOS transistors connected in series can be controlled at 25%. Comparing to the conventional mixer circuit having a switch control duty cycle of 50%, the present invention achieves the effects of increasing the gain and reducing the noise figure.
Abstract:
A system and method for displaying together images and an image capture time of captured images comprises a storage device and a viewer for displaying an image capture time. The storage device stores image data obtained from an image capture unit and environment data, which includes a storage medium, indicative of environment conditions where images are captured, and creates subtitle data based on the environment data to display a time of capturing the images as a subtitle. Also, The viewer receives the image data and subtitle data to play back the captured images based on the received data, and displays the image capture time using the subtitle data while the captured images are played back.
Abstract:
A capacitor for the semiconductor device may include a bottom electrode formed over a semiconductor substrate, a dielectric film pattern formed over the bottom electrode, an insulating member formed over a peripheral portion of the top surface of the dielectric film pattern, and a top electrode formed over the insulating member and dielectric film pattern. Capacitor properties are improved and capacitor values are maintained as constant by reducing a parasitic capacitance generated from edges of a capacitor electrode. Therefore, embodiments make it possible to improve semiconductor device properties and yields.
Abstract:
Provided are a cooling device coated with carbon nanotubes and method of manufacturing the same. Carbon nanotubes are dispersively coated on a surface of the cooling device that radiates generated by a predetermined apparatus or component through thermal exchange. Thus, a carbon nanotube structure is formed so that the cooling device can improve in a thermal radiation characteristic and become small-sized. As a result, electronic devices can be downscaled and heat generated by a highly integrated electronic circuit chip can be effectively radiated, thus increasing lifetime and performance of an operating circuit.
Abstract:
A method of detecting address information for an optical recording and/or reproducing apparatus, including: detecting and/or correcting by using the characteristic of a medium when additional data has a specific value with respect to an area of the medium among address area data on the medium, and/or the characteristic of an address that the address increases by specified unit, an error in detected address area data and outputting the result of error detection and/or correction; and providing optimal address information by using the result of the error detection and/or correction.
