Abstract: Presented are RNA nucleotide sequences referred to as EXO-Codes, and longer RNA polynucleotides that contain the EXO-Codes. EXO-Codes provide RNA with the ability to a) be selectively sorted to extracellular vesicles such as exosomes, and b) deliver a variety of cargo types to program or reprogram the extracellular vesicles, and cells that receive the exosomes. Also presented are methods of making the EXO-Codes, modifying cells using the EXO-Codes, expression vectors encoding the EXO-Codes, and exosomes and other secreted vesicles that include RNA polynucleotides that contain the EXO-Codes.

Abstract: Various gate all-around field effect transistors (GAAFET) including quantum-based features are disclosed. GAAFET may include a center core including a first end and a second end, a source region positioned circumferentially around the first end of the center core, and a drain region positioned circumferentially around the second end of the center core. The drain region may also be positioned axially opposite the source region. The GAAFET may also include a gate portion axially positioned between the source region and the drain region. The gate portion may include at least one quantum-based feature circumferentially disposed around the center core, and a gate contact circumferentially disposed around the quantum-based feature(s). The quantum-based feature(s) may include a plurality of quantum dots (QD) or at least one quantum well channel.

Abstract: Quantum network devices, systems, and methods are provided to enable long-distance transmission of quantum bits (qubits) for applications such as Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), entanglement distribution, and other quantum communication applications. Such systems and methods provide for separately storing first, second, third, and fourth photons, wherein the first and second photons and the third and fourth photons are respective first and second entangled photon pairs, triggering a synchronized retrieval of the stored first, second, third, and fourth photons such that the first photon is propagated to a first node, the second and third photons are propagated to a second node, and the fourth photon is propagated to a third node, and creating a new entangled pair comprising the first and fourth photons at the first and third nodes to transmit quantum information.

Abstract: An exemplary system, method, and computer-accessible medium for generating an image(s) of an three-dimensional anatomical flow map(s) can include receiving an optical coherence tomography (“OCT”) signal(s), splitting the OCT signal(s) into a plurality of subspectra, averaging the plurality of subspectra, and generating the image(s) of the three-dimensional anatomical flow map(s) based on the averaged subspectra. The OCT signal(s) can be a swept-source OCT signal. The OCT signal(s) can be split into the subspectra based on a Hamming window. The Hamming distance window can be optimized to minimize a nearest side lobe for each of the subspectra. A position of at least one of the subspectra can be shifted prior to averaging the subspectra. The position of all but one of the subspectra can be shifted prior to averaging the subspectra.
