摘要: A variable synthetic wavelength absolute distance measuring device locked to a dynamic sideband and a method thereof are disclosed. A high-frequency electro-optic phase modulator driven by an adjustable clock source to modulate a single-frequency reference laser to generate laser sidebands with equal frequency intervals. The tunable laser is locked to the fifth-order sideband through an offset frequency locking technology. After locking, the interval frequency of the sideband is determined by the adjustable clock source, namely dynamic sideband. The frequency of the adjustable clock source is dynamically adjusted, the interval frequency of the sideband and the frequency difference between the two lasers will change accordingly. Combined with the multi-wavelength interferometry, the constructed synthetic wavelength is also determined by the adjustable clock source, that is, the variable synthetic wavelength. The variable synthetic wavelength is dynamically adjusted, and the multi-level second-level synthetic wavelength is continuously constructed from large level to small level.

摘要: Systems and methods for improved interferometric imaging are presented. One embodiment is a partial field frequency-domain interferometric imaging system in which a light beam is scanned in two directions across a sample and the light scattered from the object is collected using a spatially resolved detector. The light beam could illuminate a spot, a line or a two-dimensional area on the sample. Additional embodiments with applicability to partial field as well as other types of interferometric systems are also presented.

The measurement beam may be caused to move on the retina by the motion of a mirror that intercepts and redirects the measurement beam. The mirror position may be altered by the application of a drive signal to one or more actuators that respond to the drive signal by rotating the mirror about an axis or axes.

摘要: An apparatus for oral imaging has a light source energizable to generate a light frequency signal ranging from a minimum to a maximum frequency. An image acquisition apparatus scans the generated light frequency signal to successive positions on a sample surface and to combine a returned signal from each successive position with the generated light frequency signal. The image acquisition apparatus has a detector that obtains a beat frequency signal from the combined returned signal and the generated light frequency signal. A processor that is in signal communication with the detector generates a processed beat signal from the combined signals, wherein the processed beat signal is indicative of the distance from the tunable laser source to the sample surface at the corresponding position. A display is in signal communication with the processor and is energizable to display distance data according to the processed beat signal for each scanned position.

摘要: A parameter measurement device of a light deflector includes a photodetector that receives output light from the light deflector, a biaxial translation automatic stage that moves the photodetector to a plurality of positions, and a signal processing device that calculates the wavelength of the output light of a wavelength sweeping light source for each time, calculates the wavelength of the light received from the light deflector by the photodetector based on the output signal of the photodetector and a previously-calculated wavelength, and calculates the incident angle of the output light beam of the wavelength sweeping light source onto the diffraction grating and an angle formed by an L-axis and a line perpendicular to the surface of the diffraction grating by performing fitting so that the coordinates of the photodetector that are obtained for each position of the photodetector and the wavelength of the light conform to a prescribed relational expression.

摘要: Various methods, systems and apparatus are provided for imaging and sensing using interferometry. In one example, a system includes an interferometer; a light source that can provide light to the interferometer at multiple wavelengths (λi); and optical path delay (OPD) modifying optics that can enhance contrast in an interferometer output associated with a sample. The light can be directed to the sample by optics of the interferometer. The interferometer output can be captured by a detector (e.g., a camera) at each of the multiple wavelengths (λi). In another example, an apparatus includes an add-on unit containing OPD that can enhance contrast in an interferometer output associated with a sample illuminated by light at a defined wavelength (λi). A detector can be attached to the add-on unit to record the interferometer output at the defined wavelength (λi).
