摘要: An apparatus and method determine a size of a bonding film for bonding a bonding target having a size which varies due to temperature variation, at an environmental temperature which is different from a temperature during use. The method includes measuring an actual size of the bonding portion of the circuit electrode at the first temperature, comparing the actual size of the bonding portion with a designed size of the bonding portion at the first temperature, and determining a cutting size of the bonding material based on a comparison result and mounting the bonding material over the bonding portion.

摘要: An in-vehicle recording/reproduction device (121) records in a recording device a program which the user starts watching, and reads and reproduces the data when watching is permitted, such as, for example, when a vehicle is stopped. The in-vehicle recording/reproduction device (121) transmits recording information about recording, such as a program, a time, and the like, to an in-home recording/reproduction device (303). The in-home recording/reproduction device (303) records the same program as that recorded by the in-vehicle recording/reproduction device (121) based on the recording information. The in-vehicle recording/reproduction device (121) transmits to the in-home recording/reproduction device (303) reproduction information indicating which scene was last reproduced in the in-vehicle recording/reproduction device (121). The in-home recording/reproduction device (303) performs reproduction based on the reproduction information. Thereby, it is possible to watch the rest of the program which was watched in the vehicle, at home without missing a scene.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device of the present invention comprises picture element regions each defined by a first electrode on a first substrate on the liquid crystal layer side and a second electrode provided on a second substrate and opposing the first electrode via the liquid crystal layer. In each picture element region, the first electrode includes openings and a solid portion; and the liquid crystal layer is in a vertical alignment with no voltage, and upon voltage application, forms liquid crystal domains each taking a radially-inclined orientation above the openings and the solid portion by an oblique electric field produced in edge portions of the openings. The solid portion of the first electrode includes unit solid portions and connecting portions each for connecting at least three unit solid portions to one another. The second substrate has a first orientation-regulating structure above each connecting portion for exerting an orientation-regulating force for placing liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer above the connecting portion into the radially-inclined orientation at least with voltage application.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of picture element regions each including a first electrode provided on one side of a first substrate that is closer to a liquid crystal layer and a second electrode provided on a second substrate so as to oppose the first electrode via the liquid crystal layer therebetween. The first electrode includes, in each picture element region, a solid portion including a plurality of unit solid portions, whereby the liquid crystal layer takes a substantially vertical alignment in the absence of an applied voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode, and forms a liquid crystal domain taking a radially-inclined orientation in a region corresponding to each unit solid portion of the first electrode by an inclined electric field produced around the unit solid portion in response to a voltage applied between the first electrode and the second electrode. Each unit solid portion includes four acute angle corner portions that are pointing respectively in upward, downward, leftward and rightward directions of a display plane.

摘要: Stream data and a command outputted from a drive device (101)are individually packetized in a first packet processing unit (102a). The stream data packet and the command packet are further multiplexed, and the multiplexed data is transmitted to a transmission path (104) using a synchronous channel. When the command outputted from a decoding unit (105) is packetized in a second packet processing unit (102b), it is packetized by multiplexing flow control information outputted from the decoding unit (105) on it, and transmitted to the first packet processing unit (102a) using a synchronous channel of the transmission path (104), and based on this flow control information, reading from and writing in the drive device (101) is controlled.
