摘要: A hybrid vehicle controlling method is provided. In response to an engine startup demand, when a vehicle target driving force is below a given value, an instruction hydraulic pressure for a hydraulic control circuit is set to a first pressure at which an increase rate in an engagement pressure at a start of engaging of a friction engagement element becomes below a given rate and maintained for a given time period, then set to a second pressure at which an engine-startup engagement pressure is applied to the friction engagement element and maintained until the engine startup is completed, and then set to a third pressure for setting the friction engagement element to an engaged state. When the target driving force is above the given value, the instruction hydraulic pressure is set to the second pressure and maintained until the engine startup is completed, and then set to the third pressure.

摘要: A front end accessory drive (FEAD) for a military vehicle. The FEAD includes a first belt, a second belt, multiple accessories, an electric motor-generator, at least one other accessory, and a sprag clutch. The accessories and the electric motor-generator are coupled with the first belt. The at least one other accessory, the first belt, and the second belt are coupled with the sprag clutch. The second belt is configured to couple with an output shaft of an engine of the military vehicle and be driven by the output shaft of the engine to drive the sprag clutch. The sprag clutch is thereby configured to drive the at least one other accessory and the first belt, and the first belt is thereby configured to drive the plurality of accessories, and the electric motor-generator.

The torque converter may be configured to couple the electric machine to an output shaft. The controller may be programed to generate a command for the electric machine to output torque to drive the torque converter toward a desired rotational speed, and to modify the command according to a difference between the desired rotational speed and an actual rotational speed to reduce the difference, wherein values of the difference are limited by thresholds that change with powertrain operation.

摘要: A torque converter for coupling an engine to a manual transmission and a method of controlling the same are provided. The torque converter includes a housing rotating with the engine, a cover abutting the housing, a stator, a pump circulating fluid within the torque converter, and a turbine driven by the circulating fluid. An integrated disconnect clutch controls pump speed and a torsional damper attenuates vibrations transmitted through the housing. A first output shaft is coupled with the turbine and drives a first forward gear of the manual transmission while permitting slip. A second output shaft is coupled with the torsional damper, the integrated disconnect clutch, and the pump and drives at least one other forward gear of the manual transmission without slip. An output connection member rotatably couples the pump with the torsional damper, the integrated disconnect clutch, and the second output shaft.
