    Abstract: A flying vehicle in accordance to an embodiment of the present invention includes a main propeller and a propeller control mechanism for flying the vehicle. The main propeller includes a central base that permits the propeller control mechanism to be connected to the drive shaft. The propeller control mechanism includes a propeller hub and a lower hub with offset knobs that are connected by a link. A returning spring is sandwiched between the hubs and tends to return the hubs to the offset position when a change in a driving torque of the drive shaft causes them to move. The spring and link work in concert to change the pitch and height of the propeller blades while substantially unchanging the tip path plane of the propeller blades.

    Abstract: A piston assembly and method of assembly thereof, a wrist pin, a piston, a connecting rod, and methods of construction thereof is provided. The assembly includes a piston body having a pair laterally spaced pin bosses with a feature to prevent relative rotation of a first wrist pin member. The assembly has a connecting rod with a small end bore extending along a central axis and allowing relative rotation of the first wrist pin member and a feature with the small end bore to prevent relative rotation of a second wrist pin member. The first and second wrist pin members are moveable relative to one another, wherein the first and second members extend substantially parallel to the central axis through the small end bore.

    Abstract: A wrist pin and method of reducing wear between members thereof, a piston, a connecting rod, and methods of construction thereof are provided. The wrist pin has a first portion extending between opposite ends configured for receipt in piston pin bores and a second portion extending between opposite ends configured for receipt in the pin bores. The second portion is configured for relative movement with the first portion.
