    Abstract: Provided herein is an aqueous composition comprising an active antiperspirant ingredient and disodium EDTA, wherein the active antiperspirant ingredient is present in an amount of 0.2 weight % to 3 weight % by total weight of the composition on an anhydrous basis, wherein the active antiperspirant ingredient comprises an aluminum salt, and wherein the pH of the composition is from 2 to 5. The composition may be used as an antiperspirant when applied to the axillary area of a person.

    Abstract: An aluminum salt composition comprising an aluminum chlorohydrate having an aluminum to chloride molar ratio of about 0.3:1 to about 3:1, exhibiting a SEC chromatogram having a SEC Peak 4 to Peak 3 intensity ratio of at least 17, a SEC Peak 3 area of less than 5% of a total area of Peaks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the SEC chromatogram, and a Peak 4 intensity greater than a Peak 5 intensity in aqueous solution.
