The add-in(s) calculate taxes for one or more tax authorities for items contained in a transaction being processed by a point of sale application. The add-in model specifies functionality the add-in(s) need to implement before the add-in(s) can be used by the point of sale application. A method for configuring multiple add-ins is described. A first add-in is called to calculate a first partial tax owed and the first partial tax is received back. A second add-in is called to calculate a second partial tax owed and the second partial tax is received back. A total tax is calculated by adding the first partial tax with the second partial tax. A configuration user interface is also provided by the add-in.

A system and method for remotely loading artifacts is disclosed. The system and method involves monitoring application installation events on a computing device. In response to detecting an application installation event, the application installation event is intercepted. The application associated with the application installation event is searched for artifacts, and any artifacts found within the application are stored in a centralized location. The artifacts are further indexed according to a target namespace. In one embodiment, the system and method further involved receiving a query from a client to locate an artifact, locating the artifact from previously extracted artifacts and returning the artifact as URL address.

Methods, apparatus, and systems for computing, analyzing, and improving integrated circuit yield and quality are disclosed herein. For example, in one exemplary method disclosed herein, information is received from processing test responses of integrated circuits designed for functional use in electronic devices. In this embodiment, the information is indicative of integrated circuit failures observed during testing of the integrated circuits and of possible yield limiting factors causing the integrated circuit failures. Probabilities that one or more of the possible yield limiting factors in the integrated circuits actually caused the integrated circuit failures are determined by statistically analyzing the received information. The probabilities that one or more possible yield limiting factors actually caused the integrated circuit failures are reported. Tangible computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform any of the described methods are also disclosed.

The invention describes a novel test structure and process to create the structure for performing automatic dynamic stress testing of PMOS devices for Negative Bias Temperature Instability (NB TI). The invention consists of an integrated inverter, two integrated electronic switches for switching from stress mode to device DC characterization measurement mode, and a PMOS FET device under test (DUT). The inverter assures the proper 180 degree phase relationship between the test device source and gate voltage while the imbedded electronic switches provide isolation of the test device during DC characterization testing. Another embodiment of the invention enables the testing of multiple devices under test (DUTs).
