A container recess is provided in the upper surface of the inner container assembly to hold beverage containers and ice, and the assembly includes a drain for the liquid formed by melting ice from the recess into the outer container. The inner container assembly has a buoyancy which will float it upon the liquid which is drained into the outer container.

    摘要: A toolholder 1 of the type including a collet 5 integrally formed with a shank 3 is provided with an interface between a locknut 7 and collet 13 which substantially reduces the torque required to turn the locknut 7 into a position which radially collapses the collet segments 17. In this interface, one of either the inner locknut surface 23 or the outer surfaces of the collet segments 17 includes an engaging portion 56 for wedgingly flexing the collet segments 17 inwardly when the locknut is turned, and a non-engaging portion 58 disposed between the engaging portion 56 and the shank mounted ends of the collet segments 17. The non-engaging portion 58 reduces the torque required to turn the locknut 7 by reducing the binding forces that would otherwise occur between the ends of the collet segments 17 and the inner locknut surface 23. To further reduce torque, the collet portion interconnecting the collet segments 17 with the shank 3 of the toolholder is rendered thinner by the provision of circumferential grooves 72, 76 that make the collet segments 17 more flexible. Sealing rings 66, 74, 81 are seated in grooves 68, 72, 76 present in the interior defined by the collet segments 17 in order to prevent errant flows of coolant or debris from collecting between the collet segments 17 and the tool shank 9 gripped thereby.

    摘要: An insulating panel for buildings has an insulating core with one face imprinted with a grid pattern and a multiplicity of rectilinear lines radiating from one corner and defining increasing included angles relative to the base side of the panel which corresponds to pitch lines of roofs. The pitch line of a roof may be determined, and then the equivalent angular line located on the printed face. The panel may be cut along this line to abut closely the structural member of the roof extending at that angle. Vertical and horizontal measurements of the space in which the panel is to be fitted can be readily transposed to the grid pattern for making perpendicular or horizontal cuts therealong. The panel is conveniently formed by imprinting a facing sheet member and securing it to a synthetic resin core member.

    摘要: A machine for cutting grooves in foam workpieces includes a plurality of vertically spaced U-shaped cutting wires mounted on pairs of mounting posts. One leg of each U-shaped wire is mounted on one post, while the other leg is mounted on the other post. The posts are mounted on a frame so as to be adjustable in spacing and vertical position with respect to each other, so the widths of the grooves can thereby be adjusted. Horizontal slice-cutting wires are provided behind the groove-cutting wires so that grooves and slices can be cut simultaneously. The slice-cutting wires are aligned at an angle with the vertical so that each slice-cutting wire exits the workpiece before all those beneath it. One version produces tongue-and-groove sheet, while ship-lap sheets are produced by the other version.

    摘要: An insulating panel to be used in a panelized insulation system for insulating and finishing walls, including basement walls has a foam core made of inorganic materials. The system incorporates a capillary break, an integrated water drainage system and an electrical wire chase system within an insulating wall panel. Vertical slots are provided for insertion of metal studs for use in attaching the interior finish panel, such as inorganic fiber cement board with a vinyl laminate finish, onto the insulating panels. Embedding metal studs in the panel core reduces the sound transmission though the panel and eliminates thermal bridging between warm and cold surfaces. Steps on the edges and the top/bottom surfaces of the insulating panel allow more panels to join together with shiplap joints.

    摘要: The claimed subject matter relates to architectures and/or mechanisms that can facilitate issuing, embedding and verification of an optical DNA (o-DNA) signature. A first mechanism is provided for obtaining a set of manufacturing errors inherent in an optical media instance. These errors can be encoded into the o-DNA that can be cryptographically signed with a private key, then embedded into the source optical media instance. A second mechanism is provided that can decrypt the o-DNA with a public key and compare the authenticated errors to the observed errors to ascertain whether the optical media instance is authentic as opposed to a forgery or counterfeit.

The spacer is compressed between the members when the latter are stored. The spacer releases the inhibitor, which prevents corrosion during the storage period. The spacer serves to maintain a vapor flow space between the members.
