摘要: An apparatus for displacing a line of track chain is disclosed which is employable for the purpose of disassembling, assembling, or reassembling the chain. A guide table for guiding movement of the chain is adapted to tilt only in the upward direction together with a pair of rails which are raised or lowered by actuating a first cylinder. A trolley moves forward and backward in the space as defined by both the rails by actuating a second cylinder while it is guided along the rails. The trolley is provided with an engagement rod which extends upwardly therefrom through a slot on the guide table to come in engagement to a bushing in the chain. Forward displacing of the chain is achieved by way of the steps of tilting up the guide table together with the rails by actuating the first cylinder, displacing the trolley forward by a distance equal to one pitch of the chain by actuating the first cylinder, lowering the rails to the lowermost position by retracting the first cylinder and displacing the trolley backward to the initial position by retracting the second cylinder. A distance of displacement of the chain is adjustably determined by selectively determining the position of two stoppers on a stationary screw spindle which is extended below the rails in parallel to the latter. Each of the stoppers is adapted to abut against an abutment member fixedly secured to the bottom of the trolley.

摘要: An apparatus for the production of reinforcement non-woven net fabric which is provided with selvage nipping devices for nipping selvages of a weft sheet constituted by loop end portions of reaches of weft thread on both sides of the weft sheet and advancing the weft sheet with the weft thread reaches laterally tensioned, an adhesive applying device for coating thermoplastic adhesive on the weft sheet being nipped by the selvage nipping devices except for the selvage portion of the weft sheet, a heating device for drying and melting the adhesive on the weft sheet, and a sheet pressing device for pressing and bonding to each other the weft sheet with melted adhesive thereon and a preheated warp sheet. During applying of the adhesive the weft thread reaches can be maintained exactly straight and in parallel and spaced relationship, and no adhesive is applied to most of the warp thread, other than at the intersection points with the weft sheet. Further, the sheet press device has a peripheral surface which is controlled so as to keep the temperature lower than softening point of the adhesive, whereby the composite of weft and warp sheets can be easily and rapidly released from the sheet pressing device.

摘要: In a projection image displaying device which projects imaging light emitted from a projection lens by being reflected by a projection mirror, an air inlet for sucking external air is provided at the position of a sealing mechanism of the projection mirror. Air blown off through openings provided around the projection lens is sucked into a case through this air inlet. When a cooling operation of cooling components within the case is to be performed by sealing the projection mirror, a sucking operation through the air inlet is stopped. This prevents dust in the external air from adhering to a reflective surface of the projection mirror regardless of the installation state of the projection image displaying device.

摘要: In a projection image displaying device which projects imaging light emitted from a projection lens 2 by being reflected by a projection mirror 3, an air inlet 4d for sucking external air is provided at the position of a sealing mechanism 3a of the projection mirror 3. Air blown off through openings 2a, 2b provided around the projection lens 2 is sucked into a case through this air inlet 4d. When a cooling operation of cooling components within the case is to be performed by sealing the projection mirror 3, a sucking operation through the air inlet 4d is stopped. This prevents dust in the external air from adhering to a reflective surface of the projection mirror regardless of the installation state of the projection image displaying device.

摘要: The protecting device has a wire passage for wiring the wires led out of the connector. The wire passage includes a first passage part for wiring the wires along a first wiring direction to lead the wires to terminal out of the connector, a second passage part for wiring the wires in a second wiring direction different from the first wiring direction and a third passage part for wiring the wires in a third wiring direction different from the second wiring direction The third passage part extends in a direction in which the wires are led out of the connector. The protecting device farther has a wire-interference rib formed at a boundary between the second passage part and the third passage part to project in an opposite direction to the direction in which the wires are led out of the connector.

摘要: A catalyst for purifying exhaust gases includes a porous support; a cerium oxide or a solid solution of a cerium oxide and a zirconium oxide in a state of mutual solid solution, loaded on the porous support; and a noble metal element loaded on the porous support. The cerium oxide or the solid solution has an average particle diameter of from 5 to 100 nm. The cerium oxide is present in the solid solution in an amount of from 0.2 to 4.0 by molar ratio with respect to the zirconium oxide therein. The catalyst can be prepared by: coating and calcinating on a support substrate a slurry of a cerium oxide sol, a cerium oxide sol and a zirconium oxide sol, on a solid solution powder of a cerium oxide and a zirconium oxide in a state of mutual solid solution; and loading a noble metal element thereon. The cerium oxide or its solid solution has a surface area large enough to effect an oxygen storage function, and has an average particle diameter large enough to prevent the same from entering deeply into fine pores of a porous support, thereby providing a catalyst fully exhibiting both of the oxygen storage capability and the catalytic activity.

摘要: The exhaust gases, such as of an internal combustion engine are contacted with a catalyst containing copper in the presence of hydrocarbons in an oxidizing atmosphere, whereby nitrogen oxides are reduced from the exhaust gases. Then, the exhaust gases are preferably contacted with an oxidizing catalyst. The former catalyst contains copper loaded on a porous support formed from alumina, silica, silica-alumina or zeolite or mixture thereof. The support is preferably a monolithic body having a first portion loaded with copper and a second portion loaded with a metal or metals defining the oxidizing catalyst.
