Abstract: An illumination system for a lighting assembly comprises a light assembly configured to selectively illuminate an operating region in a surgical suite and a plurality of light sources positioned within the light assembly and configured to emit light. The system further comprises at least one imager configured to capture image data and a controller. The controller is configured to scan the image data in at least one region of interest for a shaded region and identify a location of the shaded region within the region of interest. The controller is further configured to control the light assembly to activate at least one of the light sources to emit light impinging on the shaded region within the region of interest.

Abstract: A scanning apparatus for a vehicle comprises a display housing comprising a display device forming a display plane and a support housing in supportive connection with the display housing. The support housing is in connection with a connection surface of a portion of the vehicle and forms an interior cavity extending substantially perpendicular from the connection surface. A first PCB is disposed in the interior cavity, wherein the first PCB comprises a plurality of planar faces terminating at a plurality of edges. The planar faces extend substantially perpendicular to the connection surface.

Abstract: An illumination system for a room comprises a light assembly comprising at least one illumination source configured to selectively direct at least one light emission in an operating region of the room. The system further comprises an imager configured to capture image data in a field of view in the room. A controller is in communication with the light assembly and the imager. The controller is configured to detect a position of the marker in the image data and control the light assembly to direct the at least one light emission within the operating region based on the position of the marker.

Abstract: The disclosure provides for a display apparatus for a vehicle for displaying images captured by at least one image sensor to a driver of the vehicle. The display apparatus includes a display projector configured to project images derived from the image data, a display screen for displaying images projected thereon by the display projector, and a reflector positioned to reflect the images from the display screen towards a viewing direction. According to one embodiment, the display apparatus further includes an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the display projector relative to the vehicle. According to another embodiment, the display apparatus further includes a frame assembly on which the display projector, the display screen, and the reflector are mounted, the frame assembly is mounted to the vehicle such that the frame assembly may be moved relative to the vehicle to adjust the positions of the display projector, the display screen, and the reflector.

Abstract: A spring clip for a vehicle for mounting a rearview device is disclosed. The spring clip comprises a base portion comprising a coupling surface, configured to interconnect the rearview device with the windshield, and a plurality of spring biased legs. Each of the spring biased legs forms an engagement profile having a continuous rounded profile and an internal engagement surface. The internal engagement surface forms a triangular assembly profile. The engagement profile is configured to slidably engage an interface profile of a bracket configured to interconnect the rearview device to the windshield.

The carrier plate supports a rear housing on a rear portion thereof. A glass element is operably coupled with the carrier plate. A display module is configured to be turned to an on state and an off state. An actuator device is disposed on a bottom surface of the housing and is operably coupled with the glass element. The actuator device is adjustable to tilt the glass element.

Abstract: A method for controlling an illumination system includes detecting a first position of a marker in image data. In response to the first position, a first light target for the first light emission is identified. Controlling a light assembly to direct the first light emission to the first light target and maintaining the first light emission directed to the first light target. The method further includes detecting a second position of the marker in the image data. A second light target for the second light emission is identified in response to the second position. The light assembly is controlled to direct the second light emission to the second light target.
