Abstract: A method for associating a network service (NS) with a virtualized network function (VNF) to enable a network manager (NM) to determine a relationship between the NS and the VNF and maintain the NS. The method includes sending, by the NM, an NS instantiation request message to a network function virtualization orchestrator (NFVO), where the NS instantiation request message carries the information about the NS. The method further includes receiving, by the NM, an NS instantiation completion message from the NFVO, where the NS instantiation completion message carries information about the NS and information about N VNFs. The method further includes determining a mapping relationship between the NS and the N VNFs according to the information about the NS and the information about the N VNFs, where information about each VNF in the information about the N VNFs represents the VNF in the N VNFs forming the NS, and N≥one.

Abstract: A network slice management method, a management unit, and a system, where the method includes receiving, by a first management unit, a first management request, where the first management request carries requirement information of a network slice or indication information, and the indication information is used to obtain the requirement information of the network slice. The method further includes determining, by the first management unit, requirement information of a subnet that forms the network slice. According to the method, the first management unit can determine the corresponding requirement information of the subnet based on the requirement information of the network slice.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a VNF processing policy determining method, an apparatus, and a system, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to avoid a problem that an NS constituted by a VNF cannot normally run when an EM fails to configure an application parameter for the VNF. The method includes: receiving, by a management node, a configuration feedback message sent by an EM, and determining a processing policy for a VNF according to the configuration feedback message, where the configuration feedback message is used to indicate whether an application parameter of the VNF is successfully configured, and the processing policy is used by the management node to process the VNF. The method is applied to an NFV technology.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for coordinating cell outage compensation and capacity and coverage optimization, and belongs to the communications field. In the present invention, a cell to be coordinated is determined, where the cell is a cell that needs coordination of a COC action and a CCO action; priorities of the COC action and the CCO action are compared, and a high-priority action and a low-priority action are determined in the COC action and the CCO action; and for the cell to be coordinated, the high-priority action continues to be performed, and the low-priority action is stopped from being performed. This effectively solves a problem of a conflict generated when the COC action and the CCO action are performed for the same cell, and ensures normal execution of a network optimization action with a relatively high priority.
