Abstract:
In accordance with an embodiment a method for performing carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA-CA) by a station in a wireless communications network includes determining, in accordance with transmission information related to previous transmission attempts, a rate of success for each window section of a plurality of window sections, selecting a window section in accordance with at least the rate of success for each of the window sections and at least one predetermined threshold, and transmitting data after a back-off delay selected from within the selected window section.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application describe a communication method, a first station (STA), a second STA, and an access point (AP). The method includes: determining, by a first STA, a first basic service set (BSS) color; generating, by the first STA, a data frame when the first station STA and a second STA perform D2D transmission, where the data frame includes the first BSS color; and sending, by the first STA, the data frame to the second STA. The first BSS color is carried in the D2D data frame, so that when receiving the data frame, another receiving station in a BSS to which the first STA and the second STA belong can determine that the frame is a frame from a neighboring cell.

Abstract:
Embodiments provide a resource scheduling method, which can support reduction of transmission resource overheads in resource scheduling. The method is applied to a wireless local area network, where a next generation protocol followed by the wireless local area network predefines locations of resource units possibly allocated from a to-be-assigned frequency domain resource. The method includes: generating, by a sending end, resource scheduling information, where the resource scheduling information includes a bit sequence to indicate an actual allocation of a resource unit(s) from the to-be-assigned frequency domain resource, and at least some bits in the bit sequence are to indicate whether one or more of said resource unit locations possibly allocated for the to-be-assigned frequency domain resource is\are the actually allocated resource unit(s).
Abstract:
An association establishment method and apparatus for carrying out the method are described. The association establishment method includes broadcasting, by an access point (AP), a trigger frame, wherein the trigger frame is used to trigger one or more unassociated stations STAs to perform uplink data transmission and indicate one or more available subchannels for random accessing of the unassociated STAs. The method further comprises receiving, by the AP, one or more association request messages sent on available subchannels acquired by the unassociated STAs. Thereafter, the AP broadcasts a multi-block acknowledgement M-BA frame, wherein the M-BA frame includes one or more pieces of association acknowledgement information and the association acknowledgement information is acknowledgement information of the association request message.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to methods, apparatus, and systems for a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission. One example method includes generating a PPDU including a signal extension (SE) field arranged after a last orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a plurality of OFDM symbols, the PPDU including indication information in a high efficiency signaling field (HE-SIG), the indication information being generated based on a symbol length of the SE field and configured to indicate whether a receive end needs to adjust a calculated quantity of the plurality of OFDM symbols, and sending the PPDU to the receive end.
Abstract:
