摘要: An electromagnetic suspension apparatus for an automotive vehicle, employs an electromagnetic actuator interleaved between a sprung mass and an unsprung mass and arranged in parallel with a suspension spring element, and an electric motor built in the electromagnetic actuator for driving the electromagnetic actuator. A motor controller calculates a displacement input, such as a suspension stroke acceleration and a suspension velocity, transmitted to the electromagnetic actuator, and controls the motor to bring a suspension damping force closer to a desired damping force suited for the displacement input. The motor controller calculates an internal inertia force of the electromagnetic actuator, and corrects or compensates for a motor output by the internal inertia force of the electromagnetic actuator.

摘要: An infrared ray test for a semiconductor chip is conducted by irradiating infrared ray onto a bottom surface of a semiconductor chip, receiving the infrared ray reflected from a bonding pad and displaying the image of the bonding pad on a monitor. The image obtained from the infrared ray has information whether the bonding pad itself or a portion of the silicon substrate underlying the bonding pad has a defect or whether or not there is a deviation of the bonding pad with respect to the bump.

摘要: A double-wishbone type suspension system includes a hub carrier for rotatably supporting a front wheel of a vehicle, and upper and lower link devices for connecting upper and lower ends of the hub carrier to a vehicle body, respectively. The upper link device is connected to the vehicle body and the hub carrier at first and second connecting points, respectively. The lower link device includes a link element to be applied with a steering force such that the hub carrier is rotated about a kingpin axis which passes a point between the upper and lower ends of the hub carrier. The suspension system has a novel geometrical arrangement such that, in the case of a front wheel which is situated on outer side with reference to a cornering center, the second connecting point is caused during a steering operation to move along an arcuate path about the first connecting point so that the kingpin axis is tilted inwardly. During a steering operation, the front wheel has a camber characteristic which exhibits a negative camber tendency while minimizing a force component tending to lift the front wheel to ensure a natural steering feel.

摘要: A double-wishbone type suspension system includes a hub carrier for supporting an automobile wheel, upper and lower link devices for rotatably connecting upper and lower ends of the hub carrier to a vehicle body, respectively, and a wind-up link element for connecting a middle portion of the hub carrier between the upper and lower ends to the lower link device. The wind-up link element is arranged diagonally with reference to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and rotatably connected to the hub carrier at a connecting point where the hub carrier is permitted to rotate in a direction of toe angle variation. This connecting point is used as a kingpin axis setting point whose location can be relatively freely determined to satisfy requirements imposed on the suspension system, due to a relatively high degree of freedom in designing the configuration of the hub carrier.

摘要: A fluid supply system is provided for an active vehicle suspension system, for supplying fluid pressure for a hollow working cylinder via a pressure control valve for adjusting suspension characteristics of the vehicle in order to suppress vehicular attitude changes and to absorb road shock vibration, the system having a pressurized fluid source unit for circulating a pressurized fluid through a fluid circuit extending via the pressure control valve and the working cylinder. A first sensor is provided for monitoring a relative displacement between the body of the vehicle and a suspension member rotatably supporting a road wheel thereof, for producing a relative displacement magnitude indicative signal. A second sensor is provided for monitoring a lateral acceleration exerted on the vehicle body. A predicted fluid flow amount through said fluid circuit is derived on the basis of the relative displacement indicative signal to produce a predicted fluid flow amount indicative signal. A magnitude of lateral acceleration greater than or equal to a predetermined acceleration criterion is detected to produce an acceleration detection signal. The fluid supply amount from the pressurized fluid source unit is derived of the basis of the predicted fluid flow amount for controlling the pressurized fluid source unit in order to adjust the supply amount of fluid toward the derived fluid supply amount in response to the acceleration detection signal for increasing the supply amount.
