摘要： In a shift lever locking device for an automatic transmission of column type, a drive cam is turned with a key rotor mounted on a steering column, a shift shaft arranged along the steering column is turned by operating a shift lever so that the automatic transmission is shifted to a plurality of positions, a lock part is formed on the shift shaft, a link mechanism provided movably has at least a lever which is swung to operate in a link mode a drive part confronting with the driving cam of the key rotor and a lock member confronting with the lock part of the shift shaft; and an adjusting mechanism is provided for the lever of the link mechanism to adjust the positional relationships between the driving cam and the drive part and between the lock part and the lock member, whereby the assembling errors are absorbed which may be involved in assembling work.

摘要： A method for producing high strength, high modulus filament yarns of carbon fibers is provided by subjecting a mesophase-containing pitch to aging, separating (purifying) the resulting 100% mesophase and subjecting 100% mesophase to melt-spinning at 250.degree. to 350.degree. C. by using spinning nozzles having a greater cross-sectional area in the outlet part than the cross-sectional area in the narrowest inside the nozzles and further to thermosetting and carbonization whereby carbon fibers having a random (shape), turbulent flow shape or rather onion shape of carbon arrangement in cross-section are obtained.

摘要： A catalyst for polymerizing vinyl compounds or α-olefins according to the present invention includes (A) a transition metal complex, (B) a clay, clay mineral or ion-exchangeable layered compound, modified with at least one organic compound selected from the group consisting of quaternary ammonium salts, amine compounds, and adducts of amine and Brönsted acid, and (C) at least one aluminoxy compound. The transition metal in (A) is selected from Groups 4 to 10 or Groups 8 to 10 of the Periodic Table for catalysts for vinyl compounds or α-olefins, respectively. The aluminoxy compound is represented by the general Formula wherein a plurality of R groups are each independently C1-10 hydrocarbon group and at least one of the R groups is a hydrocarbon group having 2 or more carbon atoms; and z is an integer of 2 or more for catalyst for vinyl compounds and 2 to 4 for catalysts for α-olefins.
