摘要: An automatic tool change machine tool having a vertical column on which a tool stock receiving therein a vertically movable tool bar is mounted. The tool bar is provided with a toolholder receiving means at the lowermost end for the attachment of a toolholder having a cutting tool. The machine tool further has a toolholder magazine storing a plurality of toolholders. The magazine is turned around the vertical column so that one of the toolholders is indexed to a predetermined position where toolholders are attached to and detached from the tool bar in one reciprocal vertical movement of the tool bar.

摘要: In a method of registering an access permission from a first device to a second device to the second device over a network, when receiving via the network a connection request from the first device of which access permission is not registered, the second device rejects connection from the first device, and shifts to the first mode. In the first mode, the second device detects user's operation on the second device, and judges whether the detected user's operation is an operation regarding viewing of a reproduction signal from the second device. If the user's operation is not the operation regarding viewing, the second device shifts to the second mode for registering an access permission. If the user's operation is the operation regarding viewing, the second device does not shift to the second mode.

摘要: An external speaker control apparatus causes only one of an internal speaker and an external speaker to output audio when a power supply of the external speaker control apparatus which controls the external speaker changes from an off state to an on state, the external speaker being a speaker outside a video and audio output apparatus. The external speaker control apparatus includes a microcomputer for detecting the change of the power supply of an amplifier from an off state to an on state and a HDMI/CEC communication unit or outputting an instruction requesting output of information which indicates the audio output mode to the video and audio output apparatus while at the same time receiving the information indicating the audio detects the change of the power supply from an off state to an on state, wherein the microcomputer controls the output of the audio from the external speaker according to the information indicating the audio output mode.

摘要: The present invention is directed to methods of treating movement disorders by administering an effective amount of one or more adenosine A2A receptor antagonists to a patient in need thereof. The present invention also provides methods of decreasing the adverse effects of L-DOPA in patients receiving L-DOPA therapy in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The present invention further provides methods and compositions for treating Parkinson's disease patients with sub-clinically effective doses of L-DOPA by combining L-DOPA treatment with an effective amount of one or more adenosine A2A receptor antagonists (i.e., L-DOPA sparing effect). The present invention further provides methods of effective treatment of Parkinson's disease by co-administering at least one adenosine A2A receptor antagonist, L-DOPA and a dopamine agonist and/or a COMT inhibitor and/or a MAO inhibitor. The present invention further provides methods of prolonging effective treatment of Parkinson's disease by administering an adenosine A2A receptor antagonist singly or together with a dopamine agonist, and/or a COMT inhibitor, and/or a MAO inhibitor without prior or subsequent administration of L-DOPA, delaying or removing on-set of L-DOPA motor complication.

摘要: To record video data or audio data on an optical disc on which a defective area exists, there is a method of determining an allowable number of defects in proportion to a recording size and skipping the defective area to use an adjacent area thereto. This method has a problem that the size of the recording area becomes larger by an equivalent of the skipped defective area so as to take a longer time for recording a file, and so convenience for a user is damaged. The size of the defective area allowed in a recording area is limited regardless of the size of the recording area.

摘要: A controller issues a command to an HDD interface to transfer AV data stored in HDDs to a memory. The HDD interface, in compliance with the command, transfers the AV data stored in the HDDs to a memory mapped on a bus. A memory controller reads the AV data out of the bus, and writes the AV data into the memory. The controller outputs the address of the AV data to be outputted to the memory controller. The memory controller reads out the AV data of the designated address, and outputs them to an AV data output interface. And the AV data output interface outputs the AV data. The controller issues a command to the HDD interface memory to record the AV data stored in the memory into the HDDs. The HDD interface, in compliance with the command, reads the data out of a memory mapped on the bus, and stores them in the HDDs. The memory controller reads the AV data out of the memory, and outputs them to the bus. At the same time, the controller designates to the memory controller the address in the memory into which the AV data inputted from the AV data input interface are to be written. The memory controller reads the AV data out of the AV data input interface, and writes them into the designated memory. By accomplishing this series of actions in synchronism with the frame period, AV data are stored in the HDDs, and also AV data stored in the HDDs are outputted.

摘要: The present invention relates to a data recorder which chronologically records continuous data such as image data without interruption at high speed, a medium which stores the procedure of recording or reproducing in the data recorder as a program, and a method of accessing the data recorder. In one embodiment, the data recorder is equipped with a group of recording units, and each group unit has a SCSI adaptor and a hard disk. The hard disk is connected to the SCSI bus and the SCSI adaptor is connected to a PCI bus. With this construction, data to be recorded in the data recorder is split into units of a prescribed size and assigned and recorded on the group of recording units so as to utilize a plurality of hard disks as a single logical recording space.
