    摘要: An equal velocity universal joint is suitable for coupling shafts, driving and driven shafts, of mutual machines and for use in an axial piston pump motor device. One ends driving pins of the equal velocity universal joint rotate along a predetermined locus on a concentric circle while rotating and sliding by themselves in the cylinder bores of the driving or driven shaft. Spherical head portions of the other ends perform rotating motion in cylinder bores or ball receiving bores of the driving or driven shaft. Accordingly, the respective drving pins continue linear sliding motion in response to the rotation of the driving or driven shaft and thereby the spherical head portions of the other ends are held at the concentric circle on the driving or driven shaft so as to keep the driving center in floating state. As a result, the respective pistons are driven on a concentric circle, thereby an equal velocity universal joint is realized and the mechanical vibration thereof is substantially eliminated.

    摘要: An electromagnetic fuel injector suitable for use in an automotive engine has a cylindrical yoke constituting a body of the fuel injector, a solenoid coil and a stator core fixedly received in the cylindrical yoke, a movable core adapted to be attracted by the stator core, and a movable valve responsive to the movable core so as to be moved into and out of contact with a fuel injection valve seat in accordance with the balance of force between an electromagnetic force produced by the solenoid coil and a force produced by a spring received in the stator core. The stator core is coaxially received in the cylindrical yoke with a portion of the material of either one of the stator core and the yoke being plastically deformed into an annular groove formed in the opposing surface of the other of the stator core and the yoke. In consequence, the stator core and the yoke are coupled to and held on each other by the contracting force produced by the plastically deformed material in and around the annular groove. Also disclosed is a method of producing this fuel injector.

    摘要: A compressor comprises a plurality of pistons each received in one of through holes formed in a cylinder block fixedly mounted on a rotational shaft which is journaled by a stationary part, and a wobble plate arranged in such a manner as to oppose and be inclined with respect to an end surface of the cylinder block. The wobble plate is supported on the rotational shaft for wobbling movement and rotatably holds one ends of the pistons. There are provided a pair of driving pins having one end portions secured to the cylinder block and extending in parallel with the rotational shaft, and the other ends slidably engaging the wobble plate through spherical bearings. The wobble plate, the driving pins and the spherical bearings constitute in cooperation a piston driving mechanism portion.

    摘要: A ball support structure comprises a ball and a ball support movably holding the ball. The ball support is formed with a ball receiving recess defined by a semispherical portion and a cylindrical portion. A through hole aligning with the ball receiving recess and passing through the ball support is formed. The ball is disposed in the ball receiving recess of the ball support and then the ball support is axially pressed at the peripheral of the ball receiving recess so that metal of part of the ball support flows to contact with the ball thereby to provide a partially spherical portion. The ball is pushed by a rod through the through hole when the partially spherical portion is formed, so that the ball and the semispherical portion has a small gap.

    摘要: A plastic molding process for metal disclosed comprises the steps of: placing a blank within a first female die in contact with the teeth thereof, said female teeth being adaped to define the outer peripheral configuration of said blank, and said blank being supported on top of the female teeth of a second female die placed under said first female die; and then pressing the male teeth of a male die into said blank in a manner that the difference between the radius of a die cushion and the radius (l) of the male die as measured from the center of the male die to the bottom of a tooth groove thereof is equal to or larger than the plastic deformation .delta. of the blank in the radial direction, whereby the blank is molded into a desired shape, without exerting a force on the bottom or the male teeth groove.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates to a plastic molding process for a metal suited for molding a number of teeth at least internally of a blank at a time.As the means for molding teeth on a metal ring or grooves to form a gear, many processes are widely known, i.e., one using a gear cutter, whereby such a metal ring or a gear stock is machined into a body having teeth or grooves, and another which provides teeth or grooves in a metal ring or a gear stock according to cold extrusion. In those processes, a machining allowance must be provided for a work to be machined, and such an excessive material is scraped off, so that a work to be machined may be machined into a desired shape. This however is accompanied by increase in an amount of scraps and therefore undesirable from the viewpoint of the saving of the material resources. In the sense of economy of material resources, a below described cold extrusion process is undoubtedly affective. The cold extrusion process excels the other in forming teeth of a simple configuration, but tends to fail to provide a satisfactory result in case formation of teeth of a complicated configuration is desired. Even if satisfactory products may be obtained, dies used in the process is liable to undergo damage, resulting in a shortened durability, and thus the productivity is lowered.Needless to say, it is undesirable from the viewpoint of econonmy of material resources to manufacture a product at a sacrifice of something. It is therefore desired to manufacture a product without any sacrifice, particularly, of material resources.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is accordingly an object of the present invention to provide a process for molding teeth on a metal body, wherein consistent production of such products may be achieved and the service life of dies is extended.It is another object of the present invention to provide a process for molding teeth on a metal body, wherein the quality of products as well as the service life of dies used are consistent and which is superior in productivity.According to the present invention, there is provided a plastic molding process comprising the steps of; placing a blank in a female die and pressing same without exerting a force at least on the bottoms of male teeth of a male die so as to cause plastic deformation of the blank in a radially inner and outer directions of the blank or in one of these directions, whereby the blank is molded into a desired shape, with the result that material resources are saved, the service life of dies used is extended and the precision of products is enhanced.

    摘要: The lower part of a material to be molded forms a lower, seal with a die. A punch applying a molding force to the material forms an upper seal with the perimeter of the die. The space between the upper and lower, seals forms a pressure chamber that is filled with a fluid. As the punch descends into the die, the fluid is pressurized. The lower seal is a complete seal to prevent leakage of fluid into the die. The upper seal is given a clearance with the die that permits controlled leakage of fluid therepast at a rate that limits the maximum pressure in the pressure chamber while permitting the development of an adequate pressure on the material being molded.
