Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image encoding method, an image decoding method, an encoding device, and a decoding device. Abstract: A communication method and a related apparatus are provided. The method includes: after determining that the cell accessed by the terminal device is a cell of the mobile relay, a first access network device proactively reports current location information of the mobile relay to the core network device serving the terminal device, so that the core network device determines the location information of the terminal device based on the location information of the mobile relay. This resolves a problem that cell information of the mobile relay may not match an actual geographical location of the terminal device.

In this solution, data of a remote terminal is transmitted through two paths, to improve data transmission reliability of the remote terminal. The first communication path is a first session of the remote terminal, and the second communication path includes a second session of a relay terminal corresponding to the remote terminal and a sidelink between the relay terminal and the remote terminal.
