Abstract:
The disclosure provides some embodiments for securing long training field (LTF) sequence. A responding station (RSTA) configures a location management report (LMR) frame. The LMR frame is configured to include an LMR in respect of a previous measurement, and data to be used to generate a null data packet (NDP) for a current measurement that is to be performed following the previous measurement. The RSTA further encrypts the LMR frame using protected management frames (PMF) scheme, and transmits the encrypted LMR frame to an initiating station (ISTA) for generating an LTF sequence for the current measurement. In response to receiving an NDP announcement (NDPA) and an NDP for the current measurement from the ISTA, the RSTA generates an NDP for the current measurement based on the NDPA and the data using CCMP, and transmits the NDP to the ISTA.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to link switch parameters. A device may generate a frame to be sent to a second device on a first link. The device may generate announcement information associated with the frame to notify other STAs about a data transmission of the frame. The device may cause to send on the first link the frame to the second device. The device may cause to send the announcement information with the data transmission of the frame.

Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus related to a restrictive target wake time (TWT) service period (SP) system. A device may determine a beacon frame to be sent to one or more power save devices. The device may determine a time duration of a TWT SP associated with the one or more power save devices. The device may determine a first trigger frame including a cascade indication. The device may determine a first time associated with the first trigger frame. The device may cause to send the trigger frame to the one or more power save devices based at least in part on a remaining duration of the TWT SP.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods, devices, and computer readable storage mediums for encoding and decoding messages for fast link adaptation. In one aspect, a method of a high efficiency (HE) station (STA) (HE STA) includes encoding an aggregated control subfield of a high throughput (HT) Control field to signal one or more of: a request to use dual carrier modulation (DCM), a request to use a particular resource unit, an uplink (UL) power headroom indication, and an indication that the HE STA is using a minimum transmit power for a current modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The method also includes configuring the HE STA to transmit a HE-PPDU including the HT control field.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to uplink (UL) null data packet (NDP) format for passive location. A device may cause to send a trigger frame that solicits poll response to one or more anchor stations involved in a passive ranging measurement. The device may identify one or more polling response frames received from the one or more anchor stations. The device may cause to send a trigger frame that solicits uplink null data packet (NDP) to the one or more anchor stations, wherein the uplink NDP comprises an indication of a high efficiency (HE) single user (SU) frame type. The device may identify one or more uplink NDPs received from the one or more anchor stations
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for multi-destination wireless transmissions as disclosed. An example multi-destination transmitter includes a direction determiner to determine directions for wireless transmission of data to destination devices and a transmission handler to: select a subset of the destination devices that are associated with different ones of a plurality of antennas as indicated by the directions determined by the direction determiner; and transmit the data to the subset of the destination devices via the plurality of antennas.
Abstract:
Techniques for group-based spatial stream assignment signaling in 60 GHz wireless networks are described. According to various such techniques, a 60 GHz-capable transmitting device may be configured to define one or more DL MU-MIMO groups, each of which may comprise one or more respective 60 GHz-capable receiving devices. In various embodiments, the 60 GHz-capable transmitting device may include a DL MU-MIMO group ID within DL MU-MIMO control information in a PHY header of a PPDU in order to indicate that the PPDU is directed to a DL MU-MIMO group corresponding to that DL MU-MIMO group ID. In some embodiments, DL MU-MIMO control information may comprise information specifying spatial stream assignments for the 60 GHz-capable receiving devices of that DL MU-MIMO group. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
System and techniques for multi-phase wireless sounding are described herein. A first set of stations may be selected by an access point from a plurality of stations known to the access point. The access point may then transmit a first sounding request to members of the first set of stations. The access point may receive a sounding report in response to the first sounding request from members of the first set of stations. The access point may then select a second set of stations from the plurality of stations based on the sounding report. This second set of stations is a proper subset of the first set of stations. The access point may then transmit a second sounding request to the second set of stations.
