    摘要: A steering apparatus for vehicle comprises a steering shaft including a first portion connected to a steering member and a second portion connected to steerable wheels; a transmission ratio variable mechanism capable of varying a transmission ratio as a ratio of a steered angle of the steerable wheels to a steering angle of the steering member; and a reaction-force compensation motor for compensating a steering reaction force of the steering member caused by the operation of the transmission ratio variable mechanism. The transmission ratio variable mechanism includes a differential mechanism for differentially rotatably interconnecting the first and second portions; and a differential-mechanism motor for driving the differential mechanism. Both an axis of a rotary shaft of the differential-mechanism motor and an axis of a rotary shaft of the reaction-force compensation motor are aligned with an axis of the steering shaft.

    摘要: A vehicle steering device (1) has a steering actuator (14) for steerable wheels (5) to be steered according to operation of a steering member (2), a transmission mechanism (18) including cables (22, 23), a connection mechanism (19) for allowing and interrupting mechanical connection between the steering member (2) and the wheels (5), and control unit (9). When the steering actuator (14) is normal, the control unit (9) causes the connection mechanism (19) to release mechanical connection between the steering member (2) and the wheels (5) and drives and controls the steering actuator (14) according to operation of the steering member (2). The control unit (9) includes a fail detecting section (29) for detecting, when the steering actuator (14) is normal, a fail of the transmission mechanism (18) based on a load on the steering actuator (14).

The electric motor includes an annular rotor arranged coaxially with the steering shaft and rotating together with the steering shaft. The jacket includes a tubular upper jacket and a tubular lower jacket that are fitted into each other and are moved axially relative to each other in the collision of a vehicle. An annular space surrounding the steering shaft is provided radially inside the rotor. A part of the upper jacket enters the annular space in the collision of the vehicle.

    摘要: A rotary heat engine having a cylinder and a rotor having a rotating shaft rotatably placed in the cylinder. The cylinder has a heat receiving section for supplying heat to the inside of the cylinder and a heat radiating section for radiating heat from the inside. The engine also has an engine section body and an operation liquid storage section. A vaporized gas supply channel and a gas recovery channel communicating with the inside of the cylinder are provided, respectively, on the heat receiving section side and heat radiating section side of the cylinder in the engine section body. The operation liquid storage section is between the vaporized gas supply channel and the gas collection channel in order to aggregate and liquefy recovered gas and is installed such that both channels fluidly communicate with each other. Also, the operation liquid storage section has a heat insulation dam provided with a through hole for preventing backflow of fluid flowing inside.

    摘要: When a pattern is transferred via a projection optical system, a size of an image of the pattern varies depending on a defocus amount of a transferring position from the best focus position, and a flucuation curve showing the variation (the so-called CD-focus curve) varies depending on wavefront aberration of the projection optical system. There is a close relation between a linear combination value of a plurality of terms that each have a coefficient (an aberration component) of a plurality of Zernike terms (aberration component terms) into which the wavefront aberration of the projection optical system is decomposed using a Zernike polynomial in series expansion, and the variation of the flucuation curve. Accordingly, by using the above relation, the CD-focus curve related to the pattern via a projection optical system whose aberration state is predetermined exposed under predetermined exposure conditions can be predicted within a short period of time by a simple calculation of obtaining the linear combination value of a plurality of terms that each have an aberration component.

    摘要: A spark arrester includes a buffer plate against which exhaust gases discharged from the outlet end of a tail pipe strike directly. Upon impingement on the buffer plate, the exhaust gases become turbulent or agitated whereupon temperature distribution of the exhaust gases is made uniform. The buffer plate has a plurality of through-holes arranged to allow passage of the exhaust gases after the exhaust gases impinge against the buffer plate. After passing through the through-holes, the exhaust gases flow through a wire screen during which time sparks in the exhaust gases are caught by the wire screen. The exhaust gases are then guided downstream along a guide tube and finally released from an outlet end of the guide tube. A stream of exhaust gases discharged from the guide tube has only a limited length of high-temperature zone.

    摘要: An operation lever unit includes an operation handle attached to an operating rod of an engine-powered portable working machine. The operation handle is equipped with a throttle lever for regulating the power of an engine, a lock lever for holding the throttle lever in a desired position, and a secondary throttle adjustment lever for achieving a fine adjustment of the position of the throttle lever. To hold the throttle lever in the desired position, the throttle lever is forced against a portion of the operation handle by the action of a thrust cam mechanism disposed between the throttle lever and the lock lever. For achieving the fine adjustment of the throttle lever position, the secondary throttle adjustment lever is forced by a thumb of the operator to forcibly turn the throttle lever against a frictional force acting between the throttle lever and the handle portion.
