    Abstract: A clutch system includes a rotary input member, a wrap spring clutch and a rotary output member. The wrap spring clutch has a first end, a second end, and a plurality of coils. The stiffness of the wrap spring clutch is selected such that, when transmitting less than a selected coil engagement torque, the clutch system transmits torque helically from the rotary input member, to the second end, helically through the wrap spring clutch to the first end, and into the rotary output member. When transmitting more than the selected coil engagement torque, the clutch system transmits torque in parallel from the rotary input member, to the second end, helically through the wrap spring clutch to the first end, and into the rotary output member, and from the rotary input member through the coil engagement surface, to the first end, and into the rotary output member.

    Abstract: An image-capturing device includes a camera and a rotating mechanism for orienting the camera in multiple directions. The rotating mechanism includes a motor; a driving gear; a first transmission module including a first input gear, which is selectively engaged with and transmitted to rotate by the driving gear at a first position, and transmitting the camera to rotate in a first direction with rotation of the first input gear; a second transmission module including a second input gear, which is selectively engaged with and transmitted to rotate by the driving gear at a second position, and transmitting the camera to rotate in a second direction with rotation of the second input gear; and a clutch mechanism including a clutch device for driving the driving gear to switch between the first position and the second position. The clutch device includes a solenoid.

    Abstract: An axially actuatable positive engagement clutch which includes an input shaft with an input toothing and an output shaft with an output toothing. An axially displaceable connection element can occupy a meshing position which is located in an actuation path (s) between the open position and the closed position and in which the driving toothing engages with the input toothing or the output toothing for the first time during the transition from the open position into the closed position. An actuation device is configured to displace the connection element from the closed position to the open position, and an elastic return element which applies a restoring force to the connection element in direction of the closed position. The return element has a force/deflection characteristic with a local force maximum (F1) which coincides in the actuation path (s) at least approximately with the meshing position of the connection element.

    Abstract: A torque limiter includes a first meshing portion provided at a surface of an input shaft which transmits a drive force of a drive motor, the surface intersecting with an axial direction of the input shaft, and a disc spring portion including a second meshing portion arranged facing the first meshing portion in the axial direction and which is configured to mesh with the first meshing portion, the disc spring portion being integrally rotatable with an output shaft which is provided coaxially with the input shaft and which is rotatable relative to the input shaft, the disc spring portion being deflected to displace the second meshing portion in a direction opposite to the first meshing portion in a case where a load equal to or greater than a set value is applied to the disc spring portion while the second meshing portion is being biased towards the first meshing portion.
