Abstract:
A computing device may be joined to a cluster by discovering the device, determining whether the device is eligible to join the cluster, configuring the device, and assigning the device a cluster role. A device may be assigned to act as a cluster master, backup master, active device, standby device, or another role. The cluster master may be configured to assign tasks, such as network flow processing to the cluster devices. The cluster master and backup master may maintain global, run-time synchronization data pertaining to each of the network flows, shared resources, cluster configuration, and the like. The devices within the cluster may monitor one another. Monitoring may include transmitting status messages comprising indicators of device health to the other devices in the cluster. In the event a device satisfies failover conditions, a failover operation to replace the device with another standby device, may be performed.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a respiration sensor, which is attached to a testee and comprises a triaxial acceleration sensing unit, a microprocessor, and at least one alarm unit. The triaxial acceleration sensing unit detects the respiration-related movements of a testee and output a detection signal. The microprocessor connects with the triaxial acceleration sensing unit, receives the detection signal and transforms the detection signal into a respiration signal to determine the respiration state of the testee. When the respiration signal is lower than a standard, the microprocessor triggers the alarm unit to give out an alarm to alert the persons nearby.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an asymmetric porous PTFE membrane for clothing having little change over time and conventionally known properties of a porous PTFE molded article such as water permeability resistance, air permeability, sealing properties and electric properties, in which durability and water vapor permeability are improved by strengthening adhesion strength with fabric. Specifically, the present invention relates to an asymmetric porous PTFE membrane for clothing comprising a dense skin layer and a continuously foamed porous layer, wherein(1) the contact angle of water to the surface of the skin layer is 120 to 140°; and(2) the diffuse reflectance of light of the skin layer is 91 to 94%.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an infrared clinical thermometer device, wherein the ear thermometer casing has at least three light indicators; according to the measured temperature value, the microprocessor inside the casing generates a control signal and outputs the control signal to one of the light indicators; the control signal enables the light indicator to emit light to indicate to the user the state of the measured body temperature. In the present invention, light of different colors are used to indicate to the user the state of the measured body temperature; thus, the user can learn whether the body temperature is in the health state or in a fever state without watching the display but directly from the color of the emitted light; therefore, the operational convenience is greatly promoted. Further, in the present invention, a light source can be arranged beside the display, and the light source can emit a flickering light or a light of a specific color to illuminate the display to make the user read the measured temperature value easily; besides, the user can learn the state of the body temperature directly from the color of the light.
Abstract:
A polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fiber includes a filament obtained by partially slitting an oriented PTFE film in a lengthwise direction of the film. Emboss processing is conducted linearly along the lengthwise direction of the film and like a zigzag shape or a convexo-concave shape in a width direction of the film, followed by slitting, whereby the filament includes a network structure in which single fibrils that are opened partially are arranged regularly. A PTFE short fiber is obtained by cutting the above filament and includes a branch structure. Thereby, a PTFE fiber with a small average fineness of single fibrils, a uniform fineness and a single-peak distribution with the peak at a center of fineness and with a high production yield and uniform and stable branch structure can be provided and a method for manufacturing the PTFE fiber can be provided.

Abstract:
A system and method by which specialized components (tenants) are mounted to an assembly comprising a plurality of modular units. Each modular unit has one or more interface connecting locations for one or more of a power connection, a thermal connection and data base connection, along with one or more of power, thermal and data transmission paths. Modular units can be united in an assembly, and at least some of the modular units have a switching system to selectively transmit and/or receive one or more of power, thermal and data transmissions.
Abstract:
The present invention of a manufacturing process of a Teflon dual-direction extending film filtration nonwoven uses a Teflon, after it is splitted and become a fibrous structure, followed by inter-twisting to become yarn, and use a knitting machine to knit as a Teflon fabric, after raising to damage its knots, apply thermo-heating to laminate and adhere-combine the Teflon dual-direction extending film, a filtration nonwoven is made, roll the filtration nonwoven with two sides treated by raising repeatedly to become a filtration material or as a filter bag, a dust-collecting bag or a conveyor, thus a Teflon fabric has the characteristics of having stably fixed position and can optimize its filtration effectiveness.
Abstract:
To provide a method of producing a uniaxially stretched polytetrafluoroethylene gasket tape, which comprises: (1) a step for preparing a paste comprising a mixture of a polytetrafluoroethylene powder obtained by emulsion polymerization and an extrusion aid, (2) a step for extruding the paste by means of an extruder equipped with a die which has plural separators inside an orifice thereof having a rectangular cross section, (3) a step for rolling, in the extruding direction, an extrudate having slit lines to give a rolled polytetrafluoroethylene sheet, (4) a step for uniaxially stretching the rolled sheet in the rolling direction after removing the extrusion aid from the rolled sheet, and (5) a step for heat-treating the obtained uniaxially stretched polytetrafluoroethylene sheet. The die of the extruder has plural sheet-like separators in the orifice thereof having a rectangular cross section. The separators are mounted so that free ends thereof are located at a point exceeding a center point of a long side of the orifice, and function to provide slit lines inside the extrudate in parallel with the long side of the orifice. The high performance inexpensive PTFE gasket tape is produced by the uniaxially stretching method and has properties equal to those of biaxially stretched PTFE gasket tape.
Abstract:
A computer enclosure assembly comprising of a generally box shaped computer chassis having a plurality of face portions including a first face portion, a first panel member removably mounted on the first face portion; and a latch assembly comprising a first latch portion on the chassis and a second latch portion on the first panel member. One of the first and second latch portions is trippingly deflectable to disengage the first latch portion from the second latch portion through application of pressure to a trip area, the trip area being hidden from view.
