Abstract:
Devices and methods to compress sensor data are generally described herein. An exemplary wearable device to compress sensor data may include a sensor including circuitry to sense sensor data, and a communication circuit to receive, from a remote device, a detected link quality of a low-power communication channel used to communicate with the remote device. The communication circuit further to transmit compressed data to a remote device over the low power communication channel. The wearable device may further include a compressible sensor data module to apply a compression algorithm to compress received sensor data based on the detected link quality to provide the compressed sensor data.
Abstract:
Crystalline solid forms of tigecycline, Form I, Form II, Form III, Form IV, and Form V, compositions comprising these crystalline solid forms, and processes for preparing these crystalline solid forms are described herein.
Abstract:
A flush control valve core assembly is provided including a valve core body, a back spring accommodated in the valve core body, a valve piece and a valve shaft. The valve piece includes a discharge hole. A portion of the back spring extends as a pin structure, which is able to slidably move in the discharge hole. The pin structure is formed by a free end of the back spring horizontally bending towards the center, and then bending downwards vertically. The back spring of the flush control valve core assembly has a smaller size, which is more reliable and more easily mounted.
Abstract:
The PTFE real twist yarn of the present invention is a PTFE real twist yarn obtained by twisting a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) multi-filament slit yarn. The yarn has a circular cross-section with a circularity in the range of 10/8 to 10/10, where the circularity is expressed by the ratio between the major axis width and the minor axis width, the average fineness of filaments is in the range of 1.5 to 200 dtex, a fineness D is in the range of 50 to 6000 dtex, and a twist coefficient K expressed by Formula (1) is in the range of 10000 to 35000: twist coefficient K=number of twists T×(the fineness D of the PTFE real twist yarn)1/2 (1) where the number of twists T denotes the number of twists per meter and the fineness D is a total fineness.
Abstract:
An insulator usable in high current ion implantation systems includes increased surface due to the configuration of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder coupled to the inner cylinder at one end. A cylindrical cavity extends between the two cylinders increasing the surface area and making the insulator resistant to being coated by a coating that could produce a leakage path.
Abstract:
A corner panel for a veneer wall panel system includes a body having a fastener section extending in a first plane and a fastenerless section extending in a second plane. The first and second planes define an included corner angle A. In addition, a method is provided for securing a corner panel of a veneer wall panel system to a corner of an underlying support structure. That method includes the step of positioning the corner panel on the corner of the underlying support structure, fastening the corner panel to the support structure only along a first section of the corner panel and maintaining a second section of the corner panel free of any fasteners. In this way, it is possible to decouple any corner stresses between the corner panel and the underlying support structure.
