    摘要: When power scaling is applied to multi-user MIMO, a reduction in transmission rate is suppressed and transmission efficiency is improved. When signals are transmitted through spatial multiplexing from a wireless base station 11 to a plurality of pieces of user equipment 12 and 13, notification of a transmission parameter (MCS) of the distant user equipment (UE-B) 13 is provided as control information to the adjacent user equipment (UE-A) 12. The user equipment 12 calculates, based on the received control information, a reception quality (CQI) after cancellation of a signal serving as an interference signal and destined for the other user equipment 13, and feeds back the calculated result to the wireless base station 11. Based on this feedback, the wireless base station 11 sets a transmission parameter (MCS) of each piece of the user equipment 12 and 13 using the CQI after the cancellation, and transmits signals intended for respective users through spatial multiplexing after performing power distribution between the users by power scaling.

    摘要: It is possible to prevent lowering of a throughput of a radio communication system even when propagation path environments of an uplink line and downlink line are asymmetric. A maximum proper value calculation unit (115) calculates a maximum proper value from a channel matrix. A maximum proper value comparison unit (116) compares the maximum proper value with a maximum proper value of the downlink line reported separately from a base station. According to the comparison result obtained by the maximum proper value comparison unit (116), a proper mode initiative instruction unit (117) decides to pass the proper mode initiative to a communication partner or to the local device. When the initiative is to be passed to the local device, this fact is reported to a proper bam correction unit (118). When the proper beam correction unit (118) gets the proper mode initiative, the proper beam correction unit (118) corrects the correlation matrix by using the proper values of both of the downlink line and the uplink line and instructs a directivity forming unit (103) to form a proper beam according to the correlation matrix after the correction.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wireless receiver and feedback method for reducing the amount of CQI feedback in a MIMO channel. A channel estimation unit (103) uses a received pilot signal to estimate the channel matrix for each RB between respective transceiver antennas, and then performs eigenvalue decomposition of the estimated channel matrix to find eigenvalues and eigenvectors. A feedback data generator (104) is provided with a feedback bit table that correlates the number of quantized bits for the averaged CQI to be transmitted for each eigenvalue and the number of quantized bits for the CQI in each RB, and then reduces the number of quantized bits for the averaged CQI Xk commensurate with the magnitude of the eigenvalue number k. The feedback data generator (104) averages eigenvalues found by the channel estimator (103) for each RB, converts the averaged eigenvalue to a CQI for each eigenvalue number, and generates feedback data from the CQI for each eigenvalue with the number of quantized bits according to the feedback table.

    摘要: A mobile communication system which is capable of, when carrying out mobile communication using a shared channel, increasing in efficiency of transmission timing of the data transmission rate request value to prevent wasteful power consumption and hence reduce power consumption. The mobile station apparatus of the mobile communication system measures CIR of the received signal from the base station apparatus at the CIR measuring section, and decides the data transmission rate request value corresponding to the measured CIR value at the rate request value deciding section. Also, it detects an error of the received signal at the CRC section, and, when no error is found, calculates a difference between the average data transmission rate from the base station apparatus and the data transmission request value at the rate request value transmission controlling section. Then, it transmits the data transmission rate request value to the base station apparatus only when the obtained difference is larger than a threshold value.

A G parameter indicating the determined gain factor is output to multiplexing section 107 of the BTS. The G parameter is output to SIR versus error rate estimation section 110. This makes it possible to perform communications with an optimal gain factor and target SIR during diversity handover between base stations with and without an interference canceller or between base stations with interference cancellers of different capabilities.

    摘要: An allocation section 101 in a base station apparatus of the present invention sets the transmission rate of a transmit signal for a communication terminal apparatus based on a DRC signal transmitted from that communication terminal apparatus. A power margin information detector 117 detects power margin information from a demodulated signal generated by a demodulator 115, and, using that power margin information, a power setting section 118 makes a setting so as to give the minimum transmission power value at which received signal characteristics in each communication terminal apparatus meet the desired quality. Using the set transmission power value, the base station apparatus transmits a transmit signal of the set transmission rate to a communication terminal apparatus. By this means it is possible to suppress interference to a communication terminal apparatus that performs adaptive modulation communication with another base station apparatus and a communication terminal apparatus that performs adaptive modulation communication with the local base station apparatus at the same time.
