摘要: An organic EL device including a substrate, at least one organic thin-film layer overlying the main surface, and a pair of electrodes sandwiching therebetween the organic thin-film layer, at least one of the electrodes being a metallic electrode, the organic thin film layer defining a recombination electroluminescence region which is apart from the metallic electrode by at least 100 nm and has a periodic structure. In the organic EL device of the present invention, the emitted light is efficiently taken out by increasing the distance between the EL light-emitting region and the metal electrode for separating the light-emitting location from the metal electrode.

摘要: To perform with high accuracy the analog-to-digital conversion of signals of an air flow meter irrespective of fluctuation of a reference voltage of an analog-to-digital conversion circuit. A thermal type air flow meter including means for measuring an intake air flow rate by heating and controlling a heating resistor and means for performing analog-to-digital conversion of an air flow rate signal of the air flow rate measurement means, which inputs a reference voltage to the analog-to-digital conversion circuit so that the reference voltage can be converted from the analog signal to the digital signal by the analog-to-digital conversion circuit, and the air flow rate signal can be corrected in accordance with the value of the reference voltage. A/D conversion of the air flow rate signal can be executed accurately even when the voltage of the reference voltage source of the A/D converter in an electrical control unit is fluctuating.

摘要: The output characteristics of the sensing device or the control quantity of the sensing element can be adjusted by extracting an adjusting terminal in addition to a power source terminal, a ground terminal, an output terminal and the like outside a housing containing and protecting an electronic circuit. Further, by arranging the adjusting terminal inside a connector housing containing terminals such as the power source terminal, the ground terminal, the output terminal and the like, it is possible to prevent contact of foreign objects to the adjusting terminal and to water-proof the terminals for preventing corrosion since an associated connector is attached to the connector when the sensing device is actually used.

摘要: A radio access system connects a public switched telephone network and a subscriber unit. The subscriber unit includes a first detection part detecting a telematique signal; and a first control part transmitting a detection signal of the telematique signal on a control channel and transmitting the telematique signal on a traffic channel while bypassing a first speech coding-and-decoding part. The radio access system includes a second control part, provided between a radio base station and the public switched telephone network, transmitting the telematique signal on the traffic channel toward the public switched telephone network while bypassing a second speech coding-and-decoding part when the detection signal of the telematique signal is transmitted on the control channel.

摘要: A constant-voltage circuit includes a transistor (Q3) for output control connected between a source potential and a ground potential and a divider circuit (R1, R2, D2, D3) which are connected in series. The dividing point of the divider circuit connected between the emitter of the transistor (Q3) and the ground potential serves as an output terminal to be supplied with a predetermined voltage by the emitter of the transistor (Q3), so that a constant voltage appears at the output terminal. Connection between the base and the collector of the transistor (Q3) is so improved that the emitter voltage is not changed following a change in the source voltage. More specifically, the transistor (Q3) is connected in such a manner that the collector-to-emitter voltage is continuously clamped by the base-to-emitter voltage of the transistor (Q3), so that the transistor (Q3) is not subjected to a base width modulation effect and thus the emitter potential is not changed following the change in the source voltage.
