    摘要: A method, apparatus, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium for supporting visible light communication (VLC) exchanges bitmaps for capabilities field exchange in a media access control (MAC) layer during link establishment and association with other VLC-enabled devices. An aggregation bitmap is generated to indicate whether a visible light communication (VLC) transmitter of a first device uses at least one aggregated band that comprises multiple active frequency bands. The aggregation bitmap is transmitted in a capabilities information exchange (CIE) signal to a second device. A guard bitmap that identifies a set of guard frequency bands is also generated and transmitted in the CIE signal. Each guard frequency band indicates leakage transmission from the VLC transmitter.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for managing a database connection, comprising the steps of: in responsive to a connection request of a first application, allocating an available connection for the first application; if there is no available connection, selecting a held connection being used by a second application; backing up connection context of the held connection; releasing the held connection; and allocating the held connection for the first application. Since connection context of the application has been restorably backed up, a connection of the application can be cut off and the connection re-scheduled when necessary. As a result, the connection utilization rate is enhanced. The present invention further provides a device and system that can manage a database connection based on the technology of connection pools.     摘要: Seed keywords are leveraged to provide expanded keywords that are then associated with relevant advertisers. Instances can also include locating potential advertisers based on the expanded keywords. Inverse lookup techniques are employed to determine which keywords are associated with an advertiser. Filtering can then be employed to eliminate inappropriate keywords for that advertiser. The keywords are then automatically revealed to the advertiser for consideration as relevant search terms for their advertisements. In this manner, revenue for a search engine and/or for an advertiser can be substantially enhanced through the automatic expansion of relevant search terms. Advertisers also benefit by having larger and more relevant search term selections automatically available to them, saving them both time and money.
