摘要： A process for damaging and maintaining damage to the nucleic acids of pathogens such as white blood cells, bacteria and viruses which may be contained in blood or blood components. This process comprises adding to the blood or blood component containing pathogens an effective amount of riboflavin, and exposing the fluid to light of an appropriate wavelength to damage the nucleic acid of the pathogen and to substantially maintain the damage to the pathogenic nucleic acids to allow for subsequent transfusion into a recipient.

摘要： The present invention relates to anticancer activity against hepatocellular carcinoma of an extract and fraction isolated from flowers of Butea monosperma. Particularly, this invention relates to anticancer activity against hepatocellular carcinoma of a composition containing markered flavonoid glycosides such as butrin and isobutrin in the range of 2 to 9% by weight, isolated from the flowers of Butea monosperma by extracting the flowers with polar solvent like ethanol, methanol, aqueous ethanol or water, removing fatty non-polar constituents by triturating the extract with solvents such as ethylene chloride, methylene chloride, chloroform or ethyl acetate, suspending the residue in water, extracting with n-butanol and freeze drying the aqueous part.

摘要： The invention provides exemplary aerosolization apparatus and methods for aerosolizing a substance. According to one exemplary method, a cartridge is coupled to a liquid dispenser and includes a substance which is in a dry state. A liquid is dispensed from the dispenser into the cartridge so that the substance may be dissolved into the dispensed liquid to form a solution. The solution is then transferred from the cartridge and onto an atomization member which is operated to aerosolize the solution.
