摘要: The apparatus for wireless communication includes a processing system. The processing system is configured to establish a first radio link with a master base station, establish a second radio link with a first cell associated with a secondary base station, wherein the second radio link comprises a SRB, receive a RRC connection reconfiguration signal from the second radio link SRB to enable measurement reports associated with the second radio link, and provide a measurement report to the secondary base station associated with the second radio link using the second radio link SRB.

摘要: A UE may be operating in a wireless communication network having a UE-centric medium access control layer, and the UE may detect presence of a trigger event to signal a base station of the wireless communication network. The UE may identify one of a plurality of functionalities corresponding to the trigger event, and may generate a chirp signal that includes chirp purpose indicator and a chirp message, wherein the chirp purpose indicator and a format of the chirp message correspond to the identified one of the plurality of functionalities. Accordingly, the UE may transmit the chirp signal having the chirp purpose indicator to the base station, which may provide a chirp response message that includes message contents that relate to the chirp purpose indicator.

摘要: An access node may provide synchronization information to a UE. The access node may further provide one or more information blocks, which may include basic network configuration information. Based on the synchronization information and/or the information block(s), the UE may transmit a message to the access node that includes a random access preamble, an identifier of the UE, and/or a buffer status report. Based on the message from the UE, the access node may determine that the UE should remain active and, therefore, may transmit a response to the first message to the UE indicating that the UE should remain active. Thereafter, the UE may receive a connection setup or connection reconfiguration message. The connection setup or reconfiguration message may be received from the same or different access node from which the UE received the synchronization information and/or the one or more information blocks.
