    摘要: A connector in which the longitudinal displacement of connection terminals is positively prevented even if electric wires are pulled rearwardly by an external force, so that the fitting property of the connector to a partner connector can be improved. In the connector according to the present invention, a plurality of solderless terminals (1) are chained to a carrier having feed holes (11), with each of the terminals having an electric-wire solderless contact portion (5) provided with a slot (4) for solderlessly connecting an electric wire. The terminals are severed from the carrier in such a manner that portions of feed holes (11) of the carrier remain in the rear end portions of the solderless terminals (1). Additionally, fitting portions (14) to be fitted into the feed holes (11) are formed on the bottom walls of a terminal holder (2) in which the terminals are received. Since the feed holes (11) are provided in the rear end portions of the solderless terminals (1), the strength of the solderless terminals (1) is not reduced. Furthermore, since the fitting portions (14) are provided so as to project from the bottom walls (12) of the terminal holder (2), the strength of the bottom walls (12) is likewise not reduced.

    摘要: A nitrogen-containing molecular sieving carbon which contains at least 0.1 weight % nitrogen bonded to constituent carbon of the activated carbon. It exhibits improved ability to remove nitrogen oxides compared with the conventional adsorption methods using commercially available activated carbons or other absorbents. Also an economically advantageous system for removing nitrogen oxides is provided which needs no reducing agent such as ammonia, no oxidizing agent such as ozone, or no electrical and physical energy such as electron rays or ultraviolet light in its operation, needs no expensive catalysts, and can be semipermanently operated with regular changes of the relatively low-priced activated carbon.

The connector housing (25) is formed with a flexible engage arm (31) having an arm portion (37) extending from an inner wall (33) thereof, an engage step portion (43) engaged with the terminal part (29) when the terminal part has been inserted into the connector housing (25) in a normal direction, and an arm end projection portion (47) engaged with the terminal part (29) when the terminal part is being inserted into the connector housing (25) in a reverse direction. In particular, the connector housing (25) is further formed with at least one terminal insertion guide slope portion (51) extending from the inner wall (33) thereof to such a position as to be roughly flush with the arm end projection portion (47) beside the flexible engage arm (31) so as to guide the terminal part (29) as it is inserted into the connector housing (25).

    摘要: A connector including a separate terminal retainer for retaining terminals in a connector housing where the retainer can be disengaged from the connector housing without the use of external jigs. The connector includes the connector housing having a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers, and the terminal retainer adapted to be connected to a rear portion of the connector housing in a two-step manner, i.e. a provisional engagement condition and a complete engagement condition, and movable relative to the connector housing. The terminal retainer has flexible retaining pieces and flexible support pieces. In the complete engagement condition, the flexible retaining pieces are engaged with respective metal terminals by their own flexibility, and the flexible support pieces are guided and elastically bent by the drive surfaces of the connector housing to be engaged with respective metal terminals. When the terminal retainer is moved backward from the complete engagement condition beyond the provisional engagement condition, the flexible retaining pieces ride onto projections of the connector housing to be displaced out of the locus of movement of the metal terminals being removed. The metal terminal can be easily removed from the connector housing without using any jigs.
