Abstract:
A method and system for displaying information on a transparent display device includes receiving a touch input for selecting an object displayed on a screen of an external device that is viewable through a screen of the transparent display device, requesting the external device for information related to the object, receiving the information related to the object from the external device, and displaying the received information on the screen of the transparent display device.
Abstract:
A flexible display device including: a flexible display; a first sensor configured to sense an exposed area of the display which is exposed in a rolled state of the display; a second sensor configured to sense a user grip area within the exposed area, the user grip area corresponding to a user grip; and a controller configured to, in response to the exposed area and the user grip area being sensed, control the display to display a screen on the exposed area excluding the user grip area.
Abstract:
A display apparatus and a control method thereof for displaying an operational state of a user input are provided. The display apparatus includes: an image processor configured to process an image signal; a display configured to display an image thereon based on the processed image signal; a user input configured to receive a user's input; and a controller configured in response to the user's input being received, control the display to display thereon a cursor moved in correspondence with a location of the user's input as an icon showing an operational state of the user's input. Thus, a user may intuitively recognize the operational state of the user's input and may obtain prompt feedback on the input result without suspending his/her interaction.
Abstract:
A touch input device and a touch input method are provided. The touch input device includes a first panel configured to be touched by an input tool having magnetic properties, a second panel configured to generate a magnetic field, and a control unit configured to control the second panel to generate the magnetic field in a portion of the second panel that is related to a touched location of the first panel, as the input tool touches the first panel.
Abstract:
Provided are methods of aging an x-ray generator having carbon nanotube electron emitters. The method of aging an x-ray generator that includes a cathode, a gate electrode, and an anode, includes applying a desired, or alternatively predetermined anode voltage to the anode, and applying a direct current pulse voltage to the gate electrodes to emit electrons from electron emitters. The method further includes maintaining an anode current formed by electrons generated from the electron emitters constant.
