摘要: A photocatalytic coating composition comprising (A) a coat-forming element capable of forming a coating of silicone resin when cured and (B) a photocatalyst dispersed therein. The coat-forming element is comprised of an organopolysiloxane having a monovalent organic C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 group and a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy group. The coating composition is applied to an article and cured to form a silicone coating thereon. When the coating is exposed to light, typically UV, the photocatalyst is excited to provide photocatalysis permitting organic groups attached to silicon atoms of silicone molecules at the coating surface to be replaced by hydroxyl groups in the presence of water, thereby rendering the coating surface hydrophilic. Thereafter, the coating maintains water affinity semi-eternally and has improved weather resistance.

摘要: A power amplifier is provided which is capable of performing efficient amplification in a wider transmission signal power range than conventional power amplifiers. The power amplifier for amplifying and outputting an input signal includes first to N-th amplifiers (N is an integer of two or more) which are cascaded. A Doherty amplifier is used in circuit configuration of each of the first to N-th amplifiers. At least one of the first to (N−1)-th amplifiers has a different power ratio from that of the N-th amplifier.

摘要: In the present invention, an image of a substrate is picked up by an image pickup unit with the substrate being held by a transfer member. A drive unit for the transfer member is controlled by a driving signal from a first controller. A driving signal outputted to the first controller is outputted also to a second controller so that the second controller controls the image pickup unit based on the driving signal, thereby synchronizing drive of the transfer member with the image pickup by the image pickup unit. According to the present invention, the throughput in performing a defect inspection for the substrate is improved and a precise image is captured and subjected to accurate inspection.

摘要: A photocatalytic functional material having an excellent photocatalytic activity even by a low temperature heat treatment and having a high mechanical strength of the surface. The photocatalytic functional material of the present invention comprises a surface layer (a photocatalytic functional layer) containing a photocatalyst, an electron trapping metal and a photodegradation-resistant matrix. Though the major proportion of the photocatalyst (TiO2 particles, and the like) in the photocatalytic functional layer are covered with the photodegradation-resistant matrix (a thermosetting resin, and the like), the electron-trapping metal effectively traps the electrons generated by the photocatalytic reaction, retains positive holes and generates active oxygen species, so that the photocatalytic function such as deodorant and antimicrobial activities can be fully exhibited.

摘要: A capillary for an optical fiber connector which is low in machining cost and a process for producing the same is provided. The capillary for an optical fiber connector of the present invention comprises a cylindrical ceramics sintered body, and having a straight-hole like narrow hole 3 with a slightly larger inner diameter than an outer diameter of the optical fiber bare line for passing the bare line of the optical fiber therethrough, and a tip surface for connection at which the narrow hole opens; and an inner surface of the narrow hole being substantially a sintered surface. Therefore, a number of steps of grinding of the inner surface of the narrow hole is markedly reduced thin the conventional capillary for an optical fiber connector so that production cost can be reduced to a low amount.

摘要: A coating and developing treatment apparatus includes a substrate transfer mechanism; and a defect inspection section. A transfer control part controls transfer of a substrate. A defect classification part classifies a defect based on the state of the defect. A storage part stores a transfer route of the substrate by the substrate transfer mechanism when the substrate has been treated by treatment sections. A defective treatment specification part specifies, based on a kind of the defect classified by the defect classification part and the transfer route of the substrate stored in the storage part, a treatment section which is a cause of occurrence of the classified defect, and judges presence or absence of an abnormality of the specified treatment section. The transfer control part controls the substrate transfer mechanism to transfer a substrate bypassing the treatment section which has been judged to be abnormal by the defective treatment specification part.

摘要: In the present invention, an image pickup device moving by drive of a drive unit picks up an image of a substrate on a mounting table. The drive unit is controlled by a driving signal from a first controller. The driving signal outputted to the first controller is outputted also to a second controller, so that the second controller controls the image pickup device based on the driving signal. The movement of the image pickup device itself is synchronized with the image pickup by the image pickup device. According to the present invention, at the time when the mounting table mounting the substrate thereon and the image pickup device are relatively moved to capture the image of the substrate, a precise image without image distortion can be captured for accurate inspection.
