Abstract: An end-to-end system for data generation, map creation using the generated data, and localization to the created map is disclosed. Mapstreams—or streams of sensor data, perception outputs from deep neural networks (DNNs), and/or relative trajectory data—corresponding to any number of drives by any number of vehicles may be generated and uploaded to the cloud. The mapstreams may be used to generate map data—and ultimately a fused high definition (HD) map—that represents data generated over a plurality of drives. When localizing to the fused HD map, individual localization results may be generated based on comparisons of real-time data from a sensor modality to map data corresponding to the same sensor modality. This process may be repeated for any number of sensor modalities and the results may be fused together to determine a final fused localization result.

Abstract: An anti-fouling coating film of the present invention includes a component (A): zirconium; a component (B): lanthanum; and a component (C): at least one selected from the group consisting of silicon, phosphorus, and boron, in which in a case where masses of the component (A), the component (B), and the component (C) are used by being converted into masses of oxides thereof, total mass of the component (A) and the component (B) with respect to a mass of the anti-fouling coating film is 90% or more and 95% or less, and in a case where X is defined by X=mass of component (B)/(total mass of component (A)+component (B))×100, X is 20% or more and 50% or less, and the mass of the component (C) to the mass of the anti-fouling coating film is 5% or more and [6+(X−20)/6]% or less.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a glass article comprising: forming a first layer of a first metal on a glass substrate, the glass substrate comprising silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide; subjecting the glass substrate with the first layer of the first metal to a first thermal treatment; forming a second layer of a second metal over the first layer of the first metal; and subjecting the second layer of the second metal to a second thermal treatment, the first thermal treatment and the second thermal treatment inducing intermixing of the first metal, the second metal, and at least one of aluminum, aluminum oxide, silicon, and silicon dioxide of the glass substrate to form a metallic region comprising the first metal, the second metal, aluminum oxide, and silicon dioxide. The first metal can be silver. The second metal can be copper.

Abstract: A coated article is provided with a low-emissivity (low-E) coating on a glass substrate. The low-E coating includes an infrared (IR) reflecting layer between at least a pair of dielectric layers. The IR reflecting layer may be of silver or the like. The coating is designed so as to provide a highly transparent coated article that is thermally stable upon optional heat treatment and which can be made to have a low emissivity in a consistent manner. The coating is designed to have improved IR reflecting layer quality, and thus reduced tolerances with respect to manufacturability of desired emissivity values. The coated article may be used in monolithic window applications, IG window applications, or the like.

The LED grow system comprises: a wireless network; a red LED; a blue LED; a light controller coupled with the red LED and the blue LED and in communication with wireless network; and a mobile device in communication with the wireless network. The mobile device may include: a database having a plurality of grow profiles, where each of the grow profiles specify at least a relative intensity for the red LED, a relative intensity for the blue light, and an illumination time period; and an application executing on the mobile device that controls the illumination of the red LED and the blue LED via the light controller according to the plurality of grow profiles specified within the database.

Coated articles according to certain example embodiments of this invention may be used in the context of windows, including monolithic windows for buildings, IG windows for buildings, etc.

Abstract: Certain example embodiments of this invention relate to articles including anticondensation and/or low-E coatings that are exposed to an external environment, and/or methods of making the same. In certain example embodiments, the anticondensation and/or low-E coatings may be survivable in an outside environment. The coatings also may have a sufficiently low sheet resistance and hemispherical emissivity such that the glass surface is more likely to retain heat from the interior area, thereby reducing (and sometimes completely eliminating) the presence condensation thereon. The articles of certain example embodiments may be, for example, skylights, vehicle windows or windshields, IG units, VIG units, refrigerator/freezer doors, and/or the like.

The material includes a mixed oxide having a first metal selected from group 4 of the periodic table of elements and/or a second metal, and at least one further metal selected from group 11 of the periodic table of elements, wherein the macroscopic composition of the material given by the chemical formula corresponds to the composition of the material at a molecular level. A coating made of such a material is also provide, as is an article having such a coating, and a method for producing such a material.
