    摘要: A small-sized, high-efficiency semiconductor amplifier exhibits a satisfactory efficiency characteristic over a wide band and a low output level for secondary and tertiary higher harmonics. The semiconductor amplifier is equipped with an output circuit which is composed of a parallel resonance circuit for the secondary higher harmonic of the fundamental-operation frequency, a first connection line, a second connection line, and an open-end line having a length corresponding to approximately 1/4 of the wavelength of the tertiary higher harmonic, the drain terminal of FETs leading to the output circuit being connected to one end of the parallel resonance circuit through the first connection line, an open point being formed at one end of the parallel resonance circuit, the other end of the parallel resonance circuit for the secondary higher harmonic being connected to the open-end line having a length corresponding to approximately 1/4 of the wavelength of the tertiary higher harmonic through the second connection line, the length and width of the first connection line being adjusted to determine the secondary-higher-harmonic load-reflection coefficient of the FETs as seen from the drain thereof to such a value as will maximize the efficiency of the amplifier, the length and width of the second connection line being appropriately adjusted so as to adjust the impedance matching conditions with respect to the fundamental wave.

The amplitude characteristic correction circuit varies the drain voltage or the collector voltage of the amplifier in accordance with the envelope level of an input signal in such a manner that the relationship between the amplitude of the output of the amplifier and the amplitude of the input signal has linearity. On the other hand, the phase characteristic correction circuit provides a quantity of phase shift to the input signal in accordance with the envelope level of the input signal, and the phase-shifted input signal is applied to the amplifier in such a manner that the phase of the output of the amplifier and that of the input signal coincide with each other.

    摘要: The present invention provides a bridged stream corona generator including a first electrode comprising an electrical conductor having projections on its surface; a second electrode again comprising an electrical conductor, which is located in opposition to the first electrode; insulator means applied on at least the side of the second electrode in opposition to the first electrode; a high voltage power source connected to the first and second electrodes; and means for feeding a viscous oil onto the side of the insulator means which directs to the first electrode. With this arrangement, it is possible to smooth out irregularities caused by deposits on the side of the insulator means which faces the first electrode, thereby contributing to maintaining bridged stream corona discharge in a stable manner. The present corona generator lends itself well to purifying exhaust fumes from automobiles by corona discharge.

    摘要: A steering behavior dependent control system for controlling vehicular driving characteristics performs one or more control operations, such as anti-rolling suspension control, power assist control in a power steering system, rear wheel steering angle control in a four wheel steering system and so forth. The control system includes a steering angle sensor for monitoring steering angular displacement and produces a steering angle indicative signal. The control system is also provided a steering neutral position detector which detects steering at approximately a neutral position to produce an assumed steering neutral position indicative signal. A center value of a steering neutral range is projected on the basis of the steering angle indicative signal and the assumed steering neutral position indicative signal. Steering angle dependent control is thus performed by comparing the steering angle indicative signal value with the aforementioned center value to derive a magnitude of steering angular displacement. The control system further monitors an operating condition of the steering neutral position detector to detect a faulty condition thereof. When failure of the steering neutral position detector is detected, predetermined fail-safe operation takes place. In the fail-safe operation, the assumed center value of the steering neutral range is derived without utilizing the assumed steering neutral position indicative signal.
