    摘要: A radio frequency transmitter device, constituted for transmitting a radio frequency signal in a frequency band comprising at least one transmit subband and at least one receive subband, comprises: a transmit chain for processing a transmit signal associated with the at least one transmit subband; a power amplifier for amplifying the transmit signal; an output port for transmitting the amplified transmit signal; a processing unit for calculating, from the transmit signal associated with the at least one transmit subband, a correction signal in the at least one receive subband making use of a power amplifier model modelling the behavior of the power amplifier; and a coupler for adding the correction signal to the amplified transmit signal for cancelling intermodulation products in the amplified transmit signal produced by the power amplifier.

    摘要: A communication device, such as a smart phone, includes an envelope tracking power supply modulator. The envelope tracking power supply modulator receives an envelope tracking reference signal. A baseband controller pre-distorts the envelope tracking reference signal responsive to distortion caused by the envelope tracking power supply modulator. For instance, the pre-distortion may modify the nominal envelope tracking reference signal so that, after the modulator acts on the modified reference signal, the output of the modulator has increased linearity.

According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, power amplification efficiency and data transmission efficiency are improved by applying carrier aggregation and envelope tracking.

    摘要: A low-noise amplifier is provided that includes an input amplifier stage coupled to a plurality of independently switchable output amplifier stages. The input amplifier stage is operative to amplify an input communications signal, and it provides both an amplified communications signal and a feedforward signal. The amplified communications signal and the feedforward signal both include a distortion component. Each of the switchable output stages is operative to provide an output that combines the feedforward signal with the amplified communications signal in such as way that the distortion components of the signals at least partially cancel one another. In some embodiments, the switching of the output amplifier stages is performed by circuitry that also serves to improve reverse isolation of the separate output amplifier stages.
