摘要: A steering behavior dependent control system for controlling vehicular driving characteristics performs one or more control operations, such as anti-rolling suspension control, power assist control in a power steering system, rear wheel steering angle control in a four wheel steering system and so forth. The control system includes a steering angle sensor for monitoring steering angular displacement and produces a steering angle indicative signal. The control system is also provided a steering neutral position detector which detects steering at approximately a neutral position to produce an assumed steering neutral position indicative signal. A center value of a steering neutral range is projected on the basis of the steering angle indicative signal and the assumed steering neutral position indicative signal. Steering angle dependent control is thus performed by comparing the steering angle indicative signal value with the aforementioned center value to derive a magnitude of steering angular displacement. The control system further monitors an operating condition of the steering neutral position detector to detect a faulty condition thereof. When failure of the steering neutral position detector is detected, predetermined fail-safe operation takes place. In the fail-safe operation, the assumed center value of the steering neutral range is derived without utilizing the assumed steering neutral position indicative signal.

摘要: A vehicular height control system, according to the invention employs mutually different first and second target vehicular heights, about which normal vehicular height range is determined. The first target height is used during normal vehicle driving conditions, in which the power is supplied. On the other hand, the second target height is used during vehicular parking. The vehicular height control system according to the invention is responsive to turning OFF of the power supply to perform height adjustment utilizing the second target height to sligthly raise the vehicular height and maintains the raised height during parking. In order to maintain the vehicular height at a slightly higher level, slightly greater suspension force than that required for maintianing the vehicular height at a height level in the normal driving condition is provided. This reduces height adjustment when power supply is resumed.

The polypropylene resin composition described above comprises 40 to 95% by weight of a propylene polymer (A) and 5 to 60% by weight of an ethylene/propylene/butene random copolymer (B) having a butene content of 3 to 40% by weight and an ethylene content of 10 to 30% by weight, wherein a ratio (&eegr;B/&eegr;A) of an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;B of the component (B) described above to an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;A of the component (A) described above falls in a range of 0.5 to 1.3; and the &eegr;B described above falls in a range of 0.5 to 3.0 dl/g. The gas permeable film described above is a single layer or multilayer film comprising at least one layer of a film of the polypropylene resin composition described above and having a thickness of 10 to 100 &mgr;m, and it has the following characteristics: (1) a permeability TH2O of water vapor is 9 to 50 g/m2·24 h (based on JIS Z 0208), (2) a permeability TO2 of oxygen is 600 to 12500 nmol/m2·s·100 kPa (based on JIS K 7126-A) and (3) a permeability Tethylene of ethylene gas is 600 to 22500 nmol/m2·s·100 kPa (based on JIS K 7126-A).

摘要: A steering handle neutral position estimating apparatus for use with a motor vehicle having a steering handle operable to provide a driver's vehicle steering demand. The apparatus comprises a first sensor sensitive to steering handle position for producing an electric signal indicative of a sensed steering handle position, and a second sensor sensitive to steering handle position for producing a steering handle neutral position signal having a first level when the sensed steering handle position is in a predetermined range and a second level when the sensed steering handle is out of the predetermined range. The first and second sensors are coupled to an estimating unit which estimates a sterring handle neutral position when four conditions are fulfilled; that is when the steering handle neutral position signal is at its first level, when the steering handle position change is less than a reference value, when the vehicle continuous traveling distance is greater than a reference value, and the vehicle traveling speed is greater than a first reference value and less than a second, greater reference value.

摘要: An apparatus and - method for detecting a neutral steering angle of a steering wheel of a vehicle through which the vehicle runs straight in which when a neutral proximity signal is outputted which indicates that a steering angle of the steering wheel falls in a predetermined angular range placed in a proximity to the neutral steering angle, a deviation quantity (angle value) between the steering angle received from a steering angle sensor at a time when the neutral proximity signal is outputted and neutral steering angle is derived, updated, and stored as a final value irrespective of an on and off position of a vehicular ignition switch. In addition, when the neutral proximity steering angle is received at a first time when the ignition switch has been turned on, the neutral steering angle is reproduced from the steering angle at that time and the final value of the deviation quantity.
