Abstract: A display device that has a function of emitting visible light and infrared light and a function of detecting light. The display device is a display device including a first light-emitting device, a second light-emitting device, and a light-receiving device, in a display portion. The first light-emitting device includes a first pixel electrode, a first optical adjustment layer, a first light-emitting layer, a second light-emitting layer, and a common electrode. The second light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode, a second optical adjustment layer, the first light-emitting layer, the second light-emitting layer, and the common electrode. The light-receiving device includes a third pixel electrode, an active layer, and the common electrode. The active layer includes an organic compound. The light-receiving device has a function of absorbing at least part of visible light and infrared light.

Abstract: A light-receiving device with a novel structure is provided. The provided light-receiving device includes a light-receiving layer between a pair of electrodes. The light-receiving layer includes an active layer. The active layer contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. An absorption spectrum of the first organic compound has one or more peaks. At least one peak wavelength of the peaks is greater than or equal to 400 nm and less than or equal to 700 nm. The HOMO level of the second organic compound is higher than the HOMO level of the first organic compound. The difference between the HOMO level of the first organic compound and the HOMO level of the second organic compound is preferably higher than or equal to 0.2 eV and lower than or equal to 1.5 eV and further preferably higher than or equal to 0.4 eV and lower than or equal to 1.5 eV.

Abstract: A novel optical functional device that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. The optical functional device includes a light-emitting function, a photoelectric conversion function, a first electrode, a second electrode, and an optical functional layer. The light-emitting function converts electrical energy into first light, the first light has a first emission spectrum, and the first emission spectrum exhibits a maximum peak at a first wavelength. At a second wavelength, the intensity of the first emission spectrum is 80% of the maximum peak. The photoelectric conversion function has a spectral sensitivity characteristic; at a third wavelength, the spectral sensitivity characteristic has a maximum sensitivity within a range of 420 to 720 nm inclusive; and at a fourth wavelength, the sensitivity of the spectral sensitivity characteristic is 80% of the maximum sensitivity. The third wavelength is positioned closer to the second wavelength than to the first wavelength, and the fourth wavelength is positioned closer to the first wavelength than to the third wavelength.

Abstract: The resolution of a display apparatus having a light detection function is increased. A display apparatus includes a plurality of transistors and a light-emitting and light-receiving device in a subpixel. Abstract: A thin lightweight imaging device is provided. A highly convenient imaging device is provided. The imaging unit includes an imaging unit, a memory, and an arithmetic circuit. The imaging unit includes a light-receiving device, a first light-emitting device, and a second light-emitting device. The first light-emitting device has a function of emitting light in a wavelength range that is different from a wavelength range of light emitted by the second light-emitting device. The imaging unit has a function of making the first light-emitting device emit light and acquiring first image data. The imaging unit has a function of making the second light-emitting device emit light and acquiring second image data. The memory has a function of retaining the first reference data and the second reference data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the first image data with the use of the first reference data retained in the memory and calculating first correction image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the second image data with the use of the second reference data retained in the memory and calculating second correction image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of combining the first correction image data and the second correction image data to generate synthesized image data. The light-receiving device includes a first pixel electrode, and the first light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode on the same plane as the first pixel electrode.
