    摘要: A disk module with a disk for recording information and a controller for controlling operation of the disk in a cabinet, is formed by providing a heat radiation member on at least one of two side faces of the cabinet. The disk array apparatus includes a plurality of disk boxes, each of which accommodates a plurality of the disk modules therein and has an inlet surface on one end side and an exhaust surface on the other end side; a rack which can accommodate the disk boxes therein in a stacking manner and of which surfaces facing the inlet surfaces of the boxes are capable of ventilation; and an exhaust fan arranged in the rack. The heat radiation member is provided on at least one of the two side faces of the cabinet for each disk module, which are parallel to the recording surface of the disk.

A CM module 20 is configured to introduce cooling air from a cooling fan 10F through an opening provided on at least one side surface toward a circuit component mounted on the circuit board 210. A MP module 30 is configured to introduce cooling air by a cooling fan 10R through an opening provide on a front surface of the module case 200.

    摘要: A disk array system capable of efficiently cooling the canisters and achieving the high-density mounting of the canisters without reducing the number of canisters is provided. In the disk array system having a HDD box which stores a plurality of canisters, a canister on an upstream side of cooling air and a canister on a downstream side of the cooling air both standing upright are arranged with a difference in level therebetween in the HDD box. The canister on the upstream side has a reliability assurance temperature lower than that on the downstream side, and a disk size of the canister on the upstream side is smaller than that on the downstream side. Also, the canister on the downstream side is arranged higher than that on the upstream side so that an alarm indicator LED and a ready indicator LED can be checked visually.

    摘要: According to the storage control device of the present invention, individual cooling passages are formed for each region in the enclosure and the respective cooling passages are formed bent so as to bypass the connection substrate. As a result, the interior of the enclosure is cooled efficiently. The interior of the enclosure is divided in the front-rear direction by the connection substrate. Logic substrates and battery devices are provided on the front side of the connection substrate and logic substrates and power supply devices are provided on the rear side of the connection substrate. The battery devices and power supply devices located on the left and right sides of the enclosure are each cooled by means of individual cooling passages. The logic substrates are cooled by means of different cooling passages.
