摘要: Disclosed is a video-camera imaging-system lens barrel which overcomes the problem of a four-lens-group-type video-camera imaging-system lens barrel, which has a complicated structure and large size and weight due to the large number of lens groups. In a so-called two-group-type lens system, a first lens group 2 and a second lens group 3, which are in focus in an imaging plane (CCD 4) for each zoom magnification at fixed subject distances .alpha.m and .beta.m, are controlled such that they move along zoom tracking curves 1.sub.1, 1.sub.2, 1.sub.3 and 1.sub.4 which represent the paths of movement of the respective positions of the first lens group and the second lens group.

摘要: A focus control system for a video camera determines a first gradient indicative of a change in value of a predetermined frequency component in the video signal for first and second positions obtained from the signal of predetermined frequency component in the video signal sampled at the first lens position and at the second lens position, and determines a second gradient indicative of a change in value of the predetermined frequency component in the video signal for second and third lens positions obtained from the signal of the predetermined frequency component in the video signal sampled at the third lens position point, and the speed of longitudinal movement of the lens is controlled in accordance with changes in the first and second gradients, thereby permitting faster focusing and reducing the amount of overrun of the lens during such focusing.

摘要: Provided is alloy for medical use and a medical device that is novel and useful. The alloy for medical use according to, for example, an embodiment of the present invention is mainly composed of three kinds of elements of gold (Au), platinum (Pt), and niobium (Nb). A total content of the three kinds of elements can be no smaller than 99% by weight, in which a platinum content can be no smaller than 5% by weight and no greater than 50% by weight and a niobium content can be no smaller than 3% by weight and no greater than 15% by weight. By adjusting the content ratio of the three elements, for example, it is possible to reduce or prevent artifacts in an MRI. Non-magnetization is also possible.

摘要: A fuel cell system (100) includes: a circulation pump (50) provided on a fuel gas circulation channel (27) so as to circulate a fuel gas; a pump temperature detection portion (420) that detects a temperature of the circulation pump (50); a warmup portion that warms up the circulation pump; a pump control portion (410) that drives the circulation pump; and a breakdown determination portion (450) that determines whether the circulation pump has broken. At the start of the fuel cell system, if the pump temperature detected by the pump temperature detection portion (420) is below the melting point of water, the warmup portion warms the circulation pump, and the pump control portion (410) drives the circulation pump (50). If the pump temperature is higher than or equal to the melting point of water and the rotation speed of the circulation pump (50) is less than a predetermined speed, the breakdown determination portion (450) determines that the circulation pump (50) has broken.

摘要: A power supply system is provided for supplying power to a first drive device and a second drive device functioning as a drive source of a moving body. A fuel cell and a storage battery device are connected via a power conversion device. The fuel cell can supply power to the first drive device and the storage battery device can supply power to the second drive device, respectively, without using the power conversion device. When an output request from the moving body is a normal output request, power is supplied to each of the drive devices by the fuel cell and the storage battery device, respectively. Only when power to be supplied to the first drive device as in the output request from the moving body is greater than an amount of power that can be generated by the fuel cell, that power supply from the storage battery device to the first drive device via the power conversion device is permitted. Thus, in a power supply device that is formed of a plurality of power supply devices connected via a power conversion device, it is possible to avoid, to the extent possible, decrease of efficiency of power supply to a drive device of a moving body.
