摘要: A method of adding a low-melting point metal (e.g. Pb or Bi) to liquid steel for producing a free-cutting steel in a consistent manner and in high yield of addition is disclosed. In accordance with the method, at least one member selected from said low-melting point metal and an oxide thereof, and at least one member selected from the group consisting of quick lime and a carbonaceous material are mixed in specified optimum proportions and the mixture is blown into the liquid steel through an injection lance. The liquid steel may be agitated while the mixture is added, and the appropriate conditions for the agitation of the steel are also specified.

摘要: A stator includes a stator coil that is formed of a plurality of electric wires each being comprised of an electric conductor having a substantially rectangular cross section and an insulating coat covering the electric conductor. The electric wires include a pair of first and second electric wires each having an end portion where the electric conductor is not covered by the insulating coat. Each of the end portions of the two electric wires includes a joined part at a distal end thereof; the joined parts of the end portions are joined together. At least one of the first and second electric wires has a bent part that is bent only once and adjoins the joined part of the end portion of the electric wire. The end portion of the at least one of the first and second electric wires includes at least part of the bent part.

摘要: A digital camera 210 and a printer 220 mutually determine if each other supports PS mode. If both of them support PS mode, these two apparatuses form a network for PS by themselves and wirelessly communicate with PS mode enabled. If at least one of them does not support PS mode, normal wireless communication is performed with PS mode disabled.

摘要: According to the present invention, a dummy wafer is formed by forming a masking film on a rear surface of a silicon wafer; spray coating aluminum and depositing an aluminum film on a front surface of the silicon wafer; spray coating ceramics or carbon and depositing a ceramic film or carbon film on the aluminum film so that the aluminum film may be completely covered; and removing the masking film formed on the rear surface. Also, a dummy wafer can be formed by using an aluminum wafer as a wafer substrate and subjecting it to anodic oxidation to form a film of aluminum oxide.
