The present invention relates to a method of containing nickel into the alumina aerogel prepared by sol-gel method and supercritical drying and of preparing the nickel-alumina hybrid aerogel catalyst. The nickel-alumina catalyst prepared in the present invention has an excellent reactivity with a prolonged lifetime.

A mobile privacy protection system using a proxy, a proxy device, and a mobile privacy protection method are provided. The mobile privacy protection system includes: an electronic tag to store predetermined tag information; a proxy device to adjust a privacy level of the electronic tag; and a home server to create new tag information in response to a request from the proxy device wherein the new tag information is used to adjust the privacy level.

The digital broadcast receiver includes: a demultiplexer for dividing a received broadcast stream into video data audio data, supplementary information; a controller for determining whether caption data included in the video data is digital caption data or analog caption data on the basis of caption information included in the supplementary information, and outputting a control signal according to a result of the determining; a digital caption decoder for extracting and decoding digital caption data from the video data according to the control signal; and an analog caption decoder for extracting and decoding analog caption data from the video data according to the control signal.

Disclosed are a vanadia-titania aerogel catalyst having high specific surface area and porosity, a method of preparing the same and a method of completely oxidatively-decomposing a chlorinated aromatic compound using the catalyst under air condition. The vanadia-titania aerogel catalyst of the invention is an aerogel form having many porosities and a high specific surface area obtained by performing a supercritical drying of vanadia-titania wet gel, which is prepared by a sol-gel method, with carbon dioxide and then firing the dried vanadia-titania, with a micro porosity structure being maintained, consists of vanadia and titania wherein a content of the vanadia is 1˜15 wt % of an overall catalyst weight. In addition, according to the invention, the vanadia-titania aerogel catalyst may further comprise a manganese oxide of 1˜5 wt % or a sulfur component of 0.0001˜1 wt %. Since the vanadia-titania aerogle catalyst of the invention has the very high conversion rate and selectivity for the complete oxidation reaction of the chlorinated aromatic compound and is very thermally stable, it can be usefully used in the oxidation reaction having a high heating value capable of generating local heat spots.

A PRT (personal rapid transit) system, utilizing both course reservation and branch stop technologies and radically solving the various problems experienced in conventional roadway systems, conventional railway systems and prior art APM or PRT systems, is disclosed. The PRT system of this invention has tunnel-type dedicated guideways located aboveground, groundlevel or underground and is computer-controlled, thus allowing small-sized and standardized PRT vehicles to run along the guideways at high speeds without having any congestion delays. The PRT system thus remarkably increases transit capacity and transit efficiency, provides a comfortable and rapid transit means and radically solves traffic congestion in a large metropolitan region.

A cathode heater of a cathode ray tube is rapidly energized either when turning on electric power or when returning to a power-on state mode of the Display Power Management System (DPMS) in an electronic appliance using the cathode ray tube as a video display device. A high voltage generation unit is provided for generating a voltage higher than a rated voltage of the cathode heater of the cathode ray tube. The cathode ray tube enables a stable video display to be presented in a shorter time period due to a rapid heating of the cathode caused when an initial heating unit applies a voltage to the cathode heater which is higher than the rated voltage of the cathode heater, according to a pulse signal which exists for a predetermined time period when turning on electric power or when returning to a power-on state mode of the DPMS. A voltage drop unit is provided to drop the voltage of the high voltage generation unit to the rated voltage of the cathode heater when the predetermined time period elapses so that the cathode heater is thereafter energized with the rated voltage for that cathode heater, in order to maintain the cathode at a normal operating temperature.
