摘要: There is described a packing member for use in a packed bed, preferably a support for use as a catalyst support in a packed bed reactor. The packing member comprises ceramic material and has a geometric surface area per volume of ≥0.7 cm2/cm3 and a side crush strength of ≥250 kgf; or a geometric surface area per volume of ≥1.5 cm2/cm3 and a side crush strength of ≥150 kgf; or a geometric surface area per volume of ≥3 cm2/cm3 and a side crush strength of ≥60 kgf. The packing member optionally has a porosity of at least 6%, such as at least 15% or at least 20%.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing alcohols by hydrogenation of C4 to C20 aldehydes. The process according to the invention is performed in two consecutive hydrogenation stages, wherein the first hydrogenation stage employs an activated metal catalyst based on a nickel metal foam and the second stage employs a supported catalyst containing a catalytically active component from the group consisting of nickel, copper, chromium and mixtures thereof.

摘要: An Aluminum nitride ceramic and preparation method thereof. The aluminum nitride ceramic comprises a porous aluminum nitride matrix. A ferrite is loaded on the pore surface of the porous aluminum nitride matrix; and nano nickel particles are loaded on the surface of the ferrite. The preparation method of the aluminum nitride ceramic comprises steps: sintering the aluminum nitride ceramic by pressureless sintering method, depositing the ferrite on pore surface of porous aluminum nitride matrix by hydrothermal method, and loading nano nickel particles on the surface of the ferrite by reduction method. A micro-reactor is provided. So that the technical problems: the preheating time of the micro-reactor prepared is too long, nickel particles fall off from the surface of matrix, and nano nickel particles grow up due to quick and direct temperature rise can be solved.

The present invention relates to a method for producing isopropyl alcohol, the method including: a step (1) of reacting ethanol and water in the presence of a catalyst to obtain acetone; a step (2) of purifying the acetone; and a step (3) of reducing the acetone to obtain isopropyl alcohol.

摘要: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to CO2-free and/or low-CO2 methods of co-producing hydrogen and solid forms of carbon via natural gas decomposition using microwave radiation. The methods are efficient, self-sustaining, and environmentally benign. In a further aspect, the disclosure relates to recyclable and recoverable catalysts useful for enhancing the disclosed methods, wherein the catalysts are supported by solid forms of carbon. Methods for recycling the catalysts are also disclosed. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.

摘要: The present application provides a preparation method for trimethyl aluminum, comprising the steps of: reacting methyl aluminum dichloride or sesquimethyl aluminium chloride or dimethyl aluminum chloride with a system of metal M and methyl chloride in the presence of catalyst and solvent to produce trimethyl aluminum and chloride of metal M; wherein the catalyst is selected from metals or their ions which rank after metallic aluminum in the electrochemical series; the metal M is selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals or combinations thereof. The catalyst can significantly increase the reaction rate, thus allowing the reaction to be operated under very simple experimental conditions such as near atmospheric pressure, with higher reaction yields and higher purity of the products, and without by-products of aluminum metal and unreacted alkali or alkaline earth metals in products, making the handling of the products easier.
