Abstract:
A Process for production of 1-(3-(2-(1-benzothiophen-5-yl)ethoxy)propyl)azetidin-3-ol or salts thereof which comprises using as a starting compound as a (phenylthio)acetic acid derivative or salts thereof represented by the general formula: wherein X1 represents a halogen atom, is useful as a safe process for mass production of 1-(3-(2-(1-benzothiophen-5-yl)ethoxy)propyl)azetidin-3-ol or salts thereof which is useful as a remedy for disease of central and peripheral nerve.
Abstract:
The present inventors discovered that antibodies having weaker antigen-binding activity at the early endosomal pH in comparison with that at the pH of plasma are capable of binding to multiple antigen molecules with a single antibody molecule, have long half-lives in plasma, and have improved durations of time in which they can bind to antigen.
Abstract:
In an optical disk manufacturable by a conventional recording medium manufacturing method and that is capable of performing recording with an information recording apparatus used to perform recording on conventional recording mediums, and a data recording apparatus for recording contents data, an optical disk has a structure in which a first substrate and a second substrate are bonded together, the first substrate is provided with a recording layer in which contents data is recorded, and the second substrate is provided with a visual information recording layer in which information enabling visual recognition of, for example, the contents of contents data or a title of the contents data is recorded as visual information.
Abstract:
A ribbon cassette structure integrated with a paper feed tray includes a ribbon cassette that includes a pair of bobbin receiving units and is integrated with a paper feed tray. One of the pair of bobbin receiving units that are connected to each other, and the paper feed tray are pivotally connected to each other so as to be opened or closed between an open state where the one of the pair of bobbin receiving units and the paper feed tray are mostly separated from each other, and a closed state where the one of the pair of bobbin receiving units and the paper feed tray come in contact with each other.
Abstract:
A sinter of stable quality is produced by molding a powder for powder metallurgy. This process includes successively conducting the following steps: charging a powder and a solid lubricant into a mold compact formation in which the powder charged into the mold is compacted; releasing the compact from the mold (1); and the powder for powder metallurgy is charged again into the mold after the release step. The compact is sintered to produce a sinter. The temperature of the mold is set at a value in the range of from the boiling point of water to the melting point of the solid lubricant. The compact can be continuously formed without causing, e.g., a failure in the feeding of the powder for powder metallurgy. The sinter obtained by sintering the compact is almost even in strength and density. Thus, a stable sinter almost even in strength and density can be produced.
Abstract:
In an ink sheet cartridge, an ink sheet unit includes a first bobbin on which a longitudinal ink sheet is wound from one end thereof and a second bobbin on which the ink sheet is wound from the other end thereof, which are detachably received in a cartridge case. The cartridge case includes: a case body having an opening portion formed at the center thereof so as to expose the ink sheet used for a printing operation of a printer; a driving-side sidewall portion disposed vertically on one side of the case body so as to rotatably support driving-side shaft portions formed on ends of the first bobbin and the second bobbin; and a supporting-side sidewall portion disposed on the other side of the case body so as to rotatably support supporting-side shaft portions formed on the other ends of the first bobbin and the second bobbin.
Abstract:
A disc player is provided with: a turn table (13) for rotating an information record disc, which is placed on the turn table; a clamper (15) for holding the information record disc between the clamper and the turn table; a chassis (10) on which at least one of the clamper and the turn table is mounted and which has a rotation shaft (11a, 11b) parallel to a main surface of the information record disc held between the clamper and the turn table; a driving device (8a, 12) for transmitting a driving force to the chassis so as to rotate the chassis with the rotation shaft at a rotation axis; and an optical pickup (20) for at least reading a signal from the information record disc held between the clamper and the turn table while the disc is rotated on the turn table. A gap (W) is prepared between the rotation shaft and a bearing (22b) for the rotation shaft in a direction parallel to the main surface such that the rotation shaft has a play in the direction parallel to the main surface.
Abstract:
In a substrate junction element for reliably connecting the substrates used in a magnetic disk device, wiring substrates electrically connected to the magnetic head are placed on a carriage, and then a main substrate composed of a thin-film substrate and a reinforcing plate is placed on the wiring substrates, whereby it is possible to prevent the wiring substrates from rising. Further, by superimposing the thin-film substrate extending from the main substrate on the wiring substrates, it is possible to prevent generation of a difference in height in the soldering portion.
